Chapter 20: Chapter 20 GOOD NEWS

STELLA’s POV

“Oh my God! Stella, what happened to you?” Lisa exclaimed the moment she opened the door of her house.

She pulled me in a tight hug but soon backed away from me with a disgusted look on her face.

“What’s that kind of smell?” she grimaced. “Eeww...you stink!”

“I’m sorry, Lisa. But I need to clean myself up before going home.” I said not paying attention on her whiny complaints about how I smelled.

She guided me inside the house and into her room, to where she helped me dressed up yesterday. She lent me a fresh clean towel before I entered the shower room, hurriedly.

When I walked out, I smiled as I saw my clothes yesterday was neatly folded on top of Lisa’s bed together with my wig and my thick eyeglasses. I quickly put them on in me before walking out of the room in a hurry.

“Stella, eat breakfast first before you go home.” I heard Lisa called out from the kitchen.
