With the mouthwatering aroma of their meal filling the room, Lily was ready to dive into her plate. However, Arthur extended his hand, prompting a pause before the feast.

"Remember," he said with a gentle smile, "We may be gods in name, but we're still humans by heart."

Lily groaned, but the siblings closed their eyes, as Arthur held hands with his little sister to pray. "Dear God," he began, "Tonight, we thank you for this meal before us, for the love we hold in this household, and for the strength to face this new world."

"May our food nourish our bodies, and our bond sustain our spirits," Arthur smiled. "Amen."

"Amen." Lily copied, before opening her eyes. "Finally!"

As soon as the prayer concluded, Lily dug into her curry-rice with gusto. The savory, rich flavors danced on her taste buds, making her sigh with delight.
