Chapter 5: Chapter 5:Zoro!
A ship could be seen heading towards shells town.It will probably reach it in half an hour.As for our MC,he was busy eating the delicious food made by Makino.He had tied and thrown off the crane pirates near the area where the sea king of Foosha village resides, expect for the navigator,who he had taken as prisoner until he finds Nami.That guy right now was locked inside his room,as Yami would not let him run away.
Makino looked at Yami happily eating the food,and smiled happily as she was a little nervous if Yami would like her food or not.Due to all the things that happened at Foosha village,as well as luffy's death because of her,she had taken Yami,who is now considered as someone precious to her because he saved her and punished those pirates for killing luffy,so she was trying her best to make him happy and for him to depend on her if he ever needed her help.
He had even given her a devil fruit!He said that it was the crane fruit.She knew that devil fruits were very rare and were sold for outrageous prices,she had heard these things from shanks.When she was going to decline,he took her hands and told her,"I am worried about you,Makino.If a situation came where I will not be able to help you,you could escape using this fruit.Plus this fruit is suitable for you!It's beast-human form will give you angle like wings,which will suit you who looks like a real angle."When he said that he looked away with a light blush,while Makino's face had turned crimson as she had taken the devil fruit while meakly saying thank you and eating it.It tasted bad,but Yami's words worked like sweets for her.
Makino looked at Yami gently,she would make sure that she will become stronger with this new power to help and,if anything happened, protect Yami.Yami didn't know that the incident he had created had greatly impacted on Makino's mind.If he knew,he would probably be happy,and start planning for making his first harem member, but we will see that in the future 😉.

When Yami and Makino arrived at shells town,they first roamed around the town while resupplying for food,water,some wine,and other things.While they were taking things, yami asked about Zoro,to which people freaked out and ignored them.Makino looked at Yami in confusion as she wondered why he was looking for this Zoro person.
Yami noticed her expression and said,"I have heard that he is a famous bounty hunter here in East blue,so I was thinking of recruiting him."He said as he took her hand and walked towards another store while Makino blushed.After sometime,they arrived at a hotel,where Yami found a familiar women,who he was sure was the mother of that girl who made onigiri to Zoro.
He ordered food for both of them,while talking with Makino.After sometime he paid the bill and asked in a low voice so only he,Makino,and that women can hear it."Mam,may I know why everyone is so tense as if they will be attacked at any moment,and why they are scared when I ask about Zoro or captain Morgan."As soon as he finished speaking,the women gasped as she looked around in fear before she motioned for them to sit at the corner table.
After we sat at the table,she looked around to make sure no one was looking,before she told us about the situation in shells town.She said that captain Morgan has a son who is very spoiled as he acts like he owns the town, terrorizing the people here and getting scot free because of his father,who is worse.She also told them about Zoro, about how 3 days ago her daughter was almost hurt by helmeppo's dog before Zoro came and saved her by killing the dog.
Helmeppo fealing humiliated,ordered Zoro to be tied to a log for 30 days,if he makes it alive without food,then he will spare the girl from being killed by his bodyguards.At the end of the story the women was crying.{Yami started early than luffy,Zoro was found by luffy after he was imprisoned by the marines for 1 month,whereas Yami appeared here early as it is only 3 days since he was imprisoned here.}
While Makino put her hand on the women's shoulder and comforted her,Yami looked at the little girl who was hiding behind the corner and listening to their conversation.He got up and walked to her,while sitting on one knee and patting her head as she looked at him in surprise."Don't worry about him,I want Zoro to be a part of my crew,so there is no way I am going to let him die.Can you take me to where he was kept,we will save him and you can thank him."He said with a smile.
She was surprised a bit before she nodded with a happy expression with tears in her eyes,"Yes big brother,came with me!"She exclaimed as she took his hand and started pulling him,to which he complied as he gestured to Makino who followed along with the shocked mother who quickly followed them as she was worried about her daughter's safety.
They soon arrived at a wall,and the girl pointed at the ladder,"If we climb the ladder,we could see him."Yami nodded as he pat her head while looking at her mother."You guys should go back now,Makino and I will make sure to rescue Zoro and punish Morgan."He said as the women gave a grateful look to him before she took her reluctant daughter away.
Yami turned to Makino."Makino be prepared to use your fruit in case of emergency."He said as she nodded.They climed the ladder and soon spotted a barren ground with a gate which was guarded by 2 marine soldiers.And at the center of the ground stood a log,to which Zoro was tied to.Yami and Makino quietly made their way towards Zoro.Zoro opened his eyes and looked at them."Who are you guys?"He asked, probably because of not having food,he was preserving his strength by talking in a low voice.
Yami smiled as he pulled out both his swords and Slashed at the ropes binding Zoro while also cutting the log behind him cleanly.Zoro's eyes widened as he looked at Yami's swords,which he knew should be of great quality like his Wado Ichimonji!Before he could speak,Yami spoke."Roronoa Zoro,After hearing all the things you did for that little girl you didn't even know,plus hearing about your strength as a famous bounty hunter of the East blue,I have decided that you would join my crew!"
At Yami's declaration,Zoro was stunned."There is no way I am gonna become a pirate!My dream is to be the greatest swords man!And why did you free me damn it!"Zoro cursed as he couldn't let that girl suffer because of him.Makino smiled as she said,"We came to save you because what you did was the right thing,and captain was also moved by your actions.The girl you saved has been sad and crying ever since you were imprisoned, Captain had promised her to save you,that is why we are here."
She finished speaking as she could agree to let Zoro become a part of the crew.Yami had told her as she was his first mate,she could judge if the person he wants in his crew should join or not,and till now she was quite impressed at seeing Zoro's self sacrifice for that little girl.Yami nodded as he looked at the gate as a familiar blonde haired teen arrived along with his guards while he looked at them with angry eyes.
He shouted,"Roronoa!You broke our aggreement,now prepare for the consequences!Guards bring that little girl from that restaurant."Just as helmeppo finished speaking,Yami walked towards him as his swords were surrounded by black cresent moons."Zoro,I will show you the benefits of joining me.The first is the chance to gain access to the techniques made by the strongest swordsmen, 300 years ago."He sent two slashes at the three people infront of him,which cut them cleanly in half as the Slash travelled behind them and cut the wall!
Yami quickly looked at Makino who vomited as he put his swords away and patted her back while saying."I am sorry Makino,but you would have to get used to it as this will happen quiet often in our journey.But i promise you I will only kill those who have either hurt someone that I know,or someone that is precious to me,or that person was evil and did bad things to inocent people."Makino looked at Yami and nodded slowly as she knew that she will have to get used to killing and seeing people be killed as pirates often killed.She also trusts Yami as she knows that he is kind to people and will not kill them if one of the conditions is not met.(If only she knew about luffy~)
Yami looked at Zoro who was staring at the slashed wall."That is called the moon breathing,one of the 13 breathing styles that was derived from the sun breathing, which was wielded by Yoriichi Tsugikuni,the strongest swordsmen of his era.If you join me I will let you train in the styles that will suit you."He invited as Zoro contemplated Yami's words.
His goal was to become the strongest swordsmen.And if he could master these styles,it will help him in his journey.He didn't know that Yami was lying about this previous strongest swordsmen story.He looked at Yami while saying,"Fine,I will join you,but if you came between my dream,I will kill you myself."
Yami nodded excitedly,while Makino was also happy.Makino introduced herself,"I am Makino,the ships cook and bartender."When she mentioned bartender,Zoro looked a little happy, probably because of booze.Zoro looked at Yami,who smirked as he unleashed a little bit of conqueror's haki to build a little pressure at his speech,"My name is Yami Fujiwara,and I will become the king of the pirate's!"He declared!
