Welcome to the Bottom Nest

Although New Cato has been established and most people have their own work to do, there will never be a shortage of bounty hunters in the Bottom Nest.

Through their previous performance in the war, the bounty hunter group received a reward from Qin Mo, which is that they can still move around as bounty hunters, but they have to hand over everything they obtain during the operations.

The items handed in will be turned into throne coins, which can be used to buy more food or weapons and equipment.

Seven hundred kilometers underground from New Cato, a team of seven bounty hunters is fighting.

The warring parties were in a long and narrow corridor.

The bounty hunter hid behind an energy shield and exchanged fire with the rebel aliens and psykers that kept crawling in the distance.

"Is the Bolter preheated?!"

"Her name isn't Boltgun, it's Reyna."

"Okay, okay, are you ready to warm up, Reina?"

"alright."

A bounty hunter carrying a multi-barreled heavy weapon squeezed to the front from the back of his companions. When he pointed the "Rena" in his hand at the rebels, a bracket automatically extended from under the weapon and stuck it on the ground.

After the barrel rotated rapidly for two seconds, a large number of bullets poured towards the other end of the passage.

Every bullet would explode when it hit, blowing the aliens on the walls of the passage into all directions. Occasionally, some bone fragments or shrapnel would fly over, but they would also be stopped by the energy shield.

The aliens on the wall couldn't move forward even a single step under such firepower.

But the main reason is that the alien's body parts are swelling, and huge blisters are squeezing out from under the hard bone armor. Some aliens even have swollen hands and feet, and can only limp forward.

These were weaklings who were already dying, but the bounty hunters sped up their death.

"Die... die..." The rebel psyker limped to the front line, raising his blistered hands ready to release psionic energy.

"Yao En!" When the captain shouted, a young man in ragged clothes squeezed to the front from the back of the team. He knew what to do without any more orders.

Yao En walked forward, and the others provided cover while advancing forward.

When everyone covered Yao En and approached within 20 meters of the psyker, the psyker could not even maintain his psyker spells. First his arms exploded, and then his entire body quickly turned into liquid.

After the psyker died, the aliens screamed and exploded into pools of liquid.

"Run!"

"Hurry up, the battle with the rebels has taken too much time!"

After the battle, all the bounty hunters did not rest or look for spoils. They ran forward in the passage as if something scary was chasing them.

After running for ten minutes, I could already see the end of the long and narrow passage.

At this moment, Yao En couldn't help but turn his head back.

"Don't fucking look back!"

Amid the captain's angry and worried roar, Yaoen turned around and saw an alien.

This was a fat spider, its body covered with fuzzy hairs like steel thorns squeezed together in the passage, but it was still moving very fast.

But when he saw the spider, Yaoen's brain was so shocked and terrified that he stopped functioning and stood there in a daze.

The rebels in the current bottom nest are not the bounty hunters' biggest enemy, but the mutant creatures born from the thousands of years of pollution in the hive city.

"Leave him alone, run!"

"hurry up!"

The captain roared and ran, leading the entire team closer and closer to the exit. They could even see the light at the exit.

But the light was quickly blocked, as if someone had closed a door.

The "door" opened immediately, but what appeared was not the light outside the passage, but a giant dark green eye.

Fear, horror, weirdness... these feelings made the bounty hunters stand still, unable to move as if they were petrified.

The giant eye blinked, then moved upwards.

The huge mutant creature outside the passage has blocked the exit with its mouthparts, and circles of fangs extending into its throat are clearly visible.

But then a beam of light pierced through the mouthparts blocking the exit of the passage, and the intense energy even made the entire passage become hot.

A bounty hunter carrying an ancient temperature control device quietly turned on the cooling function.

Soon after the light beam pierced through the mutant's mouthparts, two men wearing the Guards power armor walked through the gap created by the light beam, using the shotgun lasers in their hands to blast away the fangs or other things that would block their way along the way.

Until the two men's feet stepped on the metal floor.

There were bounty hunters who had participated in the war and recognized at a glance the symbols on the two guards' power armor and the people who wore them.

It was Gray and Andrada.

The bounty hunters except Yaoen rolled and crawled towards Gray, then hid behind his guard power armor.

Gray continued to move forward with an expressionless face, passing in front of the frightened Yao En. After walking forward ten meters, he stared at the approaching mutant creatures and activated the gravity shield.

The passage was crushed and deformed by the gravity shield, and the mutant creatures were crushed under gravity.

Gray turned off the gravity shield, turned around and looked at everyone and asked: "Why is there such a big spider in the bottom nest? The thing I saw outside must be as big as a building!"

"Ancient ruins and relics contain... nothing strange."

"We...we even found a female alien in one of the ruins..."

The bounty hunters were so excited that they were about to cry, and they explained at once.

"Gray." Andrada walked up to Gray and said with a smile, "Welcome to the bottom nest."

Gray nodded, suddenly recalling the stories about bounty hunters he had read as a child.

There are not only dangers in the bottom nest, but also ancient technological relics or other valuable things.

After seeing it with his own eyes, Gray realized why people in the Lower Nest liked stories about bounty hunters, but not many people were willing to become bounty hunters.

"I advise you not to come next time." Gray warned everyone, then turned and walked up to Yaoen and tried to pull him up.

But after getting close to Yaoen, Gray felt disgusted. In his eyes, Yaoen was a dirty and smelly person.

Although he hated Yaoen, Gray still pinched his nose and reached out to pull Yaoen up.

"Are you sent by God to save us?" Yaoen asked in surprise.

"No, it was your wife who called us here." Gray pushed Yaoen, "Now go home and buy some good things to reward your wife, because if she hadn't reported it in time, we wouldn't have been able to get here in time."

"It doesn't matter. In my eyes, you are still God's messengers." Yaoen said with a smile.

Gray didn't like Yaoen so he didn't say much. He just turned around and walked to the end of the passage.

Before leaving on the transport plane, Gray looked down at the giant spider as big as a building below, and wondered how much waste this thing must have eaten in the bottom nest to grow to this size?

In the passage, when the bounty hunters were getting ready to leave, Yao En stood blankly at the exit, looking up at the transport plane in the sky, appearing very excited.
