Chapter 243: Making pasta

We set up in the kitchen, ready to tackle the pasta-making adventure. Carmen was already rolling up her sleeves, her enthusiasm infectious.

I grabbed the flour and set it on the counter, feeling a mix of excitement and amusement at what was bound to be a chaotic but fun experience.

"Okay, so how do we start?" Carmen asked, looking at me with a playful grin.

"First, we need to make a well in the flour for the eggs," I explained, trying to sound like I knew what I was doing, even though making pasta from scratch wasn't exactly my specialty.

Carmen made a small well in the mound of flour, her movements deliberate but with a touch of uncertainty. "Like this?" she asked, her brow furrowing in concentration.

"Perfect," I said, smiling at her effort. I cracked a few eggs into the center of the well and handed her a fork. "Now, whisk the eggs and slowly start incorporating the flour."
