Chapter 45: Wiped and Rebuilt!

It's quite difficult writing a Pokemon fic, there's a lot you have to think about otherwise it just blows by fast! And yeah, yeah, I know about the slightly underdeveloped characters... I'm gonna write them out more carefully in the future and try to make them more REAL in a sense...

First thing he did was replace the dirt roads with paved brick roads. The bumpiness in real life didn't exist here! The road was perfectly flat.
He thought of the square in front of Blueberry academy and made a circular plaza around the tree in the middle of the city, placing various shops around as well as a big building for the Pokemon Center.
He designated a Mining area and a residential area, along with a brand new museum in its own quarter.
The new City that Ace was looking at was basically a circle inside the bowl-shaped crater of Oreburgh's shape.
Basically, the Mining Area and Gym were in one semi circle while the Residential and Museum were in another semi circle. As you came closer to the middle, there was a commercial area.
Ace even left a shop for himself to put up things that he didn't need but got from the Mystery Gifts.
After making little adjustments here and there, adding a large Police Station with it's own prison cells, planting trees around, adding bushes, flower patches, etc.
He turned to the Museum area and the System showed him a list of options.
Ace chose the best looking Museum and saw that he could put the Pokemon Park there too!
He placed the Pokemon Park on top of the Museum, placing the Museum right in the corner as various different environments appeared for all sorts of Pokemon.
As he scrolled down, he bought more Fossil Pokemon, placing them in the park similar to Fuchsia City which allowed people to visit the Pokemon and take pictures.
For the Mines, Ace reconstructed new supports and the overall structure of the Mine itself, wedging the Gym into the Mine but more in the open, choosing a fitting design to mesh well with the Fossil theme of the Gym.
As for the Hot Spring Token, he didn't use it.
He had an inkling it would be something to use later…
He didn't move his house at all, still leaving it up on the upper bowl of the city.
After he was done modifying, the System stepped in and waved its hand.
The impossibilities were modified and all the requests for housing were implemented all at once.
After confirming the design, the System started working.
Ace watched on the side as everything was wiped out in an instant! The System paused and turned to Ace, holding out its hand, "Deoxys Core." Ace looked confused, "What do you want the Deoxys Core for?"
The System pointed at the sky and Ace handed it over with doubts, he wasn't too interested in Deoxys, it was cool but he was more curious about what the System wanted to do.
It threw the core into the sky suddenly!
Ace watched as the core exploded, turning into a blue and red gas shaped like a Deoxys!
The Smog disappeared instantly as the figure hovered in the air, sprinkling down on the ground, making the ground itself sparkle like the stars.
Right in the middle of the city, a little sprout appeared, growing into a Tall Tree with faint red and blue hues.
Ace was dumbfounded, "Deoxys turned into a Tree!" The System didn't even flinch at this stupid comment, continuing its business.
Meteorites appeared, surrounding the tree in a circle as they morphed into a sort of Fence shape. The inner area around the tree bloomed with fresh grass, flowers, and plants.
Ace rubbed his eyes as he heard voices, then he saw pieces of the Meteorites fall off, forming a more delicate fence still made of Meteorite… but the pieces turned into Miniors!
They floated around the tree, giggling happily.
He was dumbfounded! Then turned around vigilantly as he seemed to have heard some Mario Galaxy music…
These changes happened everywhere and all the Pokemon in the city were frozen in crystals, appearing above the sky with Ace.
The time seemed to speed up for him as he watched the entire process of construction happen in a timelapse!
Ace even noticed that there was a giant Mural unearthed on one of the cliff faces and a stone path was built towards it, then an electric train was dug out of the edges, circling around the city!
The city alone was 3 times bigger than before!
Ace was dumbfounded and suddenly blinked, looking up, seeing a large white horse?
No, Arceus?!
Arceus looked at the changes before looking at Ace, after checking things out, it turned around and left coolly.
Ace: ??????????
Okay?
Two more Dinosaurs came to check things out before leaving.
Ace: ?????????
Don't want to stay a while, Dialga and Palkia?
He wasn't too shocked by their appearance itself, but more confused as to why they just showed up and left… Were they here to oversee the process?
I'm sorry, are you Executives at this Construction Company??
Before the Time Lapse was over, Ace's eyes twitched as he watched Giratina pop out, looking at the Mural with dissatisfaction.
Hello? The most handsome Me isn't on this?
After Giratina appeared on the mural, it nodded and went back to the Shadow Realm or wherever it came from!
What can he say? Ace was numb.
He floated back down as the rest of the Pokemon were sent back where they came from.
Unfortunately, the 'Protagonist gets blessed by every Legendary Pokemon in existence' didn't happen. Turns out that Legendary Pokemon really don't give a shit about you!
Ace was a bit depressed, where was his Space-Time Creator God Physique that everyone else in those stories got? At least let me catch you with Pokeballs so that I can crush people?

What felt like 3 minutes for Ace turned out to be 2 weeks for everyone else as all the residents moved back in, marveling at the new city!
There were even new City Map stands that people could look at while walking around so that they wouldn't get lost. Even the Rotom Phone Map was updated!
The people were even escorted to their own homes and workplaces by the System staff. Ace stood in the Plaza center, looking around and sighing.
He was ignored!
He turned and walked to his own store, looking at it, noticing a Pretty girl at the counter, "Host! Hello! I'm the Attendant here!" Ace's lips twitched, "You're… Lively…" The girl smiled happily, "I'm an AI created by the System to manage the store! Please place goods for sale!"
She bit her nails, "Otherwise, won't we look like a joke if someone comes to buy something?! Oh my god! So embarrassing!" Ace's lips twitched and he felt his blood pressure skyrocket talking to this lively ditzy girl!
He asked, "Are you, like, a person?" The girl blinked and pinched herself, "OW!" Ace pinched the bridge of his nose, "Oh my god…" he asked tiredly, "Do you have a name?" The girl shook her head and smiled, "Please name me, Host!"
Ace thought for 10 minutes, as the girl stared at him with dead fish eyes…
Is a name so complicated…?
My host seems to be a bit stupid?
Ace finally sighed, "Robin. Your name is Robin." Robin paused and looked at him with disgust, "Is my last name Nico?" Ace's eyes twitched and he ignored her, placing things on the shelves.
Robin stopped him, "Just select the Items you want to sell in the System interface, Host!" Ace was stunned and said in shock, "You can do that?" Robin grumbled, "Stupid old fart, learn about technology!" before helping him.
Ace was blown away, magic is so awesome!
Robin: TECHNOLOGY!
Ace didn't care and sold everything he didn't need, in an instant, the store was completely full! There was even stock leftover! Of course… This was the accumulation of nearly 4 years!
Not to mention, he still had a large portion of food!
After he was finished, Ace went back home to his Pokemon and sat on the edge of the cliff, looking at the city below, smiling slightly.
No more smog, it's a beautiful day in Oreburgh.
What could've been done in a year or two was done in only 2 weeks!
He let out a breath and really took in his time here.
He not only kicked off a Game Company but also made Oreburgh bloom with new life. He felt happy inside. He hoped that he could continue changing things for the better instead of just lazing around doing nothing.
He wasn't interested in saving the world, but more so changing it into a better version of itself. A mix and blending of reality, animation, and games to form a new existence.
A world where not only can you go out and experience the joy of traveling, but also watch and review videos to better yourself. Even playing Video Games to make yourself a stronger trainer!
If years and years in the future, people came here, he wanted them to know that the People in this world weren't just Data, but real people capable of fierce tactics and beautiful souls!
In this direction, Ace was trying his hardest to push progress forward.
Maybe one day, he can stand at the top and look down to see countless climbers staring at him with a strong desire to fight.
He really, sincerely, hoped that this would happen.
With that thought, Ace stretched his back and headed inside to sleep.
