As Alek entered the eleventh floor, he was bombarded with all sorts of things. 

Whether it be gratitude for saving their lives on the first floor, a question related to him, or just friendly attempts at making acquaintances. 

Voices entered his ears each accompanied by their own agenda. 

But he didn't care; he was too exhausted to talk right now. 

Holding his hand, he quickly excused himself. 

Which made all the people who had been waiting for him feel disappointed. 

But none of them wanted to come off as too clingy or antagonise the boy, so they left him alone. 

He felt a bit bad for coming off as cold like this. 

But it couldn't be helped; he was too exhausted, both mentally and physically, over the past month. 

The tower had been extremely tough and cruel to him, as if intentionally challenging him and his conviction to the absolute limit. 

The tenth floor had been especially tough on him.
