Larry's voice was laced with pain as he continued his story. "After I blacked out, I woke up a couple of days later with Tina in the room, looking at me with a sad expression. 'You okay?' she asked. I looked at her and asked, 'Is it true?' Tina nodded, and I was broken. I asked Tina if she could give me some space. While leaving, she said, 'If you need anything, you can count on us.'"
Larry's eyes turned cold, his voice dripping with anger. "I was mad that I couldn't protect my wife and my best friend. Then, I swore I would become stronger than ever. That's when I became the Green Demon back in the day. I didn't want to live, so I went on solo missions to find a way to die. And that day, I met an opponent named Crasher Wakes. He was wanted dead or alive with a big cash reward, but I didn't want the cash. I just heard that whoever took this request would die, so I thought, 'This is my chance.'"
Larry's gaze turned distant, recalling the fateful encounter. "I finally found him - a man in his 40s with long black hair. He was able to adapt to any weapon, and our fight began."
Crasher Wakes looked at Larry and said, "Are you the super rookie mercenary I've been hearing about?" Larry didn't reply, he just took out his sword. Crasher said, "Oh well, I guess you want to die." He took out a small stick, but then it turned into an ax. Larry was a little surprised, but it didn't matter. He dashed to Crasher and used Shinsei Style Straight Slash.
Crasher immediately blocked it with his ax, which then transformed into a sword. Larry used Shinsei Style Slice and Dice, but Crasher kept blocking, changing his weapon to a spear, then a shield, and even guns. The fight was intense, with both warriors exchanging blows and clashing weapons.
Larry's sword sliced through the air, aiming for Crasher's neck, but he dodged and countered with a gunshot. Larry leapt back, avoiding the bullet by a hair's breadth. Crasher then switched to a sword, and their blades clashed in a flurry of strikes.
The battle raged on, with neither warrior giving an inch. Larry's Shinsei Style was formidable, but Crasher's ability to adapt to any weapon made him a force to be reckoned with. The outcome of the fight was far from certain, as both warriors continued to exchange blows in a dance of death.
The fight continued, with Larry unable to land a deadly strike. He stepped back, thinking, "I guess I need to use my speed to land a strike, since he has more experience than me." Crasher looked at him, and then crasher felt a sword strike at his neck, but he dodged it, leaving a cut on his face.
Crasher looked at his face, saying, "It's been a while since I've had an injury." But then he said, "Time to end this now." Larry charged at Crasher, their blades clashing in a flurry of strikes. Larry used Shinsei Style Slice and Dice, but Crasher blocked and countered with a spear thrust.
Larry dodged and used Shinsei Style Straight Slash, but Crasher parried and riposted with a sword strike. Larry leapt back, avoiding the blow by a hair's breadth. Crasher then switched to a gun, firing a shot that Larry barely blocked with his sword.
The battle raged on, with neither warrior giving an inch. But Crasher's experience and adaptability began to tell, and he landed a decisive ax strike. Larry fell to the floor, bleeding, his life passing through him.
Then, he saw Lana, telling him, "You can't die. Get up, Larry." His eyes opened, and he used the forbidden Dijin technique to call upon Lady Zephyr, the King of Wind Dijin. She looked at Larry, saying, "Child, do you know what you did was wrong? But it looks like you'll die if you don't get my power. Here, I'll make a contract with you."
Just as Crasher was leaving the scene, he felt a burst of power and saw Larry flying in the sky, his wounds healed, and his eyes blazing with a fierce determination. The tide of the battle had turned, and Crasher knew he was in for the fight of his life.
"You fool!" Crasher shouted, drawing his sword. "You think you can defeat me with your newfound power?"
Larry smirked saying it time for round two crasher hope you ready for it.
