Chapter 2: Neo The Will Of the World!
Ken appeared in pure white space, this time standing on solid ground. He blankly looked around, not sure how to react as he looked at the was an infinite expanse of white... only white.
"Can someone turn down the brightness?" He jested, squinting his eyes in a bit of discomfort.
"I apologize for not considering that you might not like the blandness."
A soft, melodic voice chimed in, exuding a warmth and elegance that sharply contrasted the stark whiteness surrounding him. As soon as the voice fell, the infinite white was replaced by endless grasslands under a wide, open sky.
'This voice... it belongs to the Manifestation of The Will of the World from the anime.' Ken thought, recognizing the voice His mind began to piece together the situation. 'Thraxis really sent me here...' He sighed internally, already feeling the annoyance build.
"Now then, care to explain why I was summoned?" Ken asked casually, his voice calm and steady, his inner thoughts covered. He glanced around, taking in the new scenery with a faint appreciation.
"I summ-... You are aware that you were summoned?" The voice hesitated, clearly puzzled. Ken wasn't supposed to know that. But, having watched the anime and read the novel, he was already a step ahead.
"Yeah, I know you summoned me. Also, I'd rather talk to someone I can see than a disembodied voice," Ken replied, his tone unbothered, but his preference for visible company clear.
There was a brief silence before a ball of light, the size of a tennis ball, appeared before him. It shimmered for a moment before slowly taking the form of a goddess.
She was stunning—long, flowing black hair, void-like eyes, and smooth, pale skin that seemed to glow with an inner light. Her figure was voluptuous, her body a perfect balance of curves that could make any man's heart race. She stood 6 feet tall, the same height as Ken.
Her presence was immense, just looking at her you would feel the power roll of every cell of her body... but there was one thing that stood out the most which would take up all your focus. She stood there completely bare, nothing hidden from view.

Ken raised an eyebrow but maintained his composure. "Ahem... I don't mind you being naked, but if you could wear some clothes... it would be better," he suggested, his tone as casual as if he were discussing the weather.
The goddess blinked, her expression unreadable. "I apologize if my nudity made you uncomfortable." Her body glowed softly, and when the light faded, she was dressed in a one-piece dress that revealed her cleavage, yet covered her belly and privates.

"Male humans are attracted to female nudity, so I appeared as such. I apologize again for any discomfort," she said, her voice emotionless, as if she were reciting a fact.
Ken chuckled softly. "True. You're eye candy, so I don't mind," he admitted, unbothered by her godly beauty that could literally bring all to their knees. "Do you have a name?"
The goddess tilted her head slightly. "I do not possess a name."
"In that case, I'll call you Neo," Ken decided, as if naming a goddess was the most natural thing to do.
Neo nodded in acknowledgment.
"Now, the main topic. You summoned me?" Ken redirected the conversation, beginning to walk aimlessly through the grassland, not fond of staying in one place for too long, especially after floating around in space.
Neo followed, her gaze fixed on him, confused by his nonchalant demeanor. "Why are you so calm? Your heartbeat and mind have been undisturbed since you arrived, even after I appeared."
Ken glanced at her, a small playful smile on his lips. "I'm just going with the flow. As for your nudity... let's just say I'm looking for someone specific for now," he said, his voice becoming low.
Neo's head tilted again in that endearing, puzzled way, but before she could press for further context.
"Back to the topic?" Ken suggested, smiling slightly at her confusion.
Neo nodded, stopping in her tracks, which made Ken halt and turn to face her. "I am the manifestation of the Will of the World, and since you have given me the name Neo, I shall henceforth be known as Neo," she declared, her voice carrying authority that rippled the very space around.
"The world is currently being influenced by a god not of this world, disrupting its order and law. I am unable to deal with this alone as I am a mere manifestation and cannot control everything without consequences and so I require your assistance. All I ask is that you find these influences, and I will handle the rest. In return, I will grant you five wishes. These wishes can be adjusted or changed at any time, but you must call out to me before doing so," she explained, her tone blunt and straightforward.
'Adjusted or changed at any given time? That's new,' Ken thought, a bit surprised as such a benefit wasn't given to the original MC but Ken wasn't about to object to such a beneficial offer.
Neo observed Ken carefully, noting his calm exterior. She tried to read his mind but failed, which for her was baffling. In her mind, she deemed him an anomaly—something out of the ordinary, something worth studying.
Suddenly, the surroundings shifted once more, transforming into a fantasy forest that looked like something out of a storybook. The trees were tall and colorful, the grasses lush and vibrant. It was a place of beauty and wonder.
"Thanks for the change," Ken said sincerely, appreciating the shift in scenery. After all, he had gone from floating in space to a bright white expanse and then to endless grasslands—this was a much-needed change.
As he continued to explore, Neo walked beside him, her eyes filled with curiosity as she examined him openly. "By the way, is this going to be a verbal agreement?" Ken asked, recalling how it was handled in the anime and novel. There had been differences, such as Ken replacing the original MC, Neo's appearance, and the change in the offer. So, Ken expected the agreement to be different as well, not that he would mind
Neo pondered his question, stopping to think. Ken paused as well, watching her with mild interest.
After a moment, an idea seemed to spark in Neo's mind, and she bluntly voiced it. "Do you wish to do an exchange? Exchanging body fluids?"
Ken deadpanned. "Mind explaining why?" he asked, understanding where she was going.
"You are strange, I can't understand you. So, I wish to see if I can learn anything from your body fluids. Plus, a contract made with exchanging body fluids would be very strong and would bind me to you, giving you more benefits. "
Ken's deadpan deepened. "Why do you say that...?" he looked at her a little wary now.
"You are a 16-year-old boy. Boys of your age are eager for intimacy and to have fun," Neo answered, her tone factual.
Ken stared at her, unable to deny it but...
"Yeah, no thanks... I'm not interested at the moment. Maybe if I can't find 'Her'. Also, a paper and pen agreement will do," Ken said plainly, brushing off the offer. Neo nodded, and a pen and paper manifested in front of him.
Ken took the contract, giving it a quick scan.

Contract between Neo and Ken:
I, Neo, the embodiment of the World's will, hereby agree to grant Ken any five wishes that are within the realm of possibility. The modification or adjustment can be done at any given moment.
In exchange, Ken, the summoned individual, is bound to assist in the removal of the influence of a god that has disrupted the order of this world.

The contract was straightforward, easy to understand. Ken signed it without hesitation.
The contract slowly drifted into Neo's hand, and she tore it in half. One half transformed into a white ball and the other vanished. The white ball darted toward Ken's chest and merged with him.
"Is that all? I didn't feel anything different," Ken remarked, feeling no changes.
"Yes, the contract is complete. Though not as potent as the exchange of body fluids, it will serve its purpose," Neo muttered, a hint of disappointment in her voice as she gazed at Ken, still puzzled by his decision.
'What a pity, I would really like to study you... perhaps I am not alluring enough?' Neo doubtfully though, but didn't delve deep into that topic anymore. She shifted her focus back to Ken.
"Will you make the wishes now or later?" Neo asked, preparing to grant any wish.
Ken nodded, having already decided. "The first wish: Make me very adaptive, as adaptive as possible, from birth," he asked his first wish, it would serve him well in this hell disguised as paradise.
"Done," Neo announced.
"The second wish: I want the Book of Records. The same one that is in the Hell God's tomb," Ken specified his second wish, causing Neo to freeze.
"How do you know about the Book of Records?" she questioned, staring directly into Ken's eyes. He wasn't supposed to know about that. 'Why do you know them'
'I read the novel,' he thought but shrugged without answering.
"Done," she announced, her voice steady as the ancient book materialized before Ken. It had a plain cover like a modern book, but its value was immeasurable to those who knew it.
"I'll make the remaining three wishes later," Ken declared. "You can send me on my way now."
Neo nodded. "You will remember your past life after 16 years and 1 month of your birth. You will be the same age as your Earth self," she informed him. In the next moment, Ken vanished.
"Such an anomaly... A pity I didn't get to study..." Neo hummed, her curiosity about Ken growing even more.
