Chapter 7: Chapter 7

Kamo, having witnessed the gruesome injury, paused in his own battle. His outward expression remained stoic and unreadable, but inwardly, his heart raced and his mind spun with a sense of panic.

Kamo Pov:

"Shit! Shit! Shit! What is another finger bearer doing here? This shithead wasn't in cannon. I shouldn't have relied on my meta knowledge. Stupid, stupid, stupid!"

My heart is pounding in my chest as I realize the gravity of the situation. With one finger bearer, I was barely able to keep up, but now there are two? . This is going to be a hell without my curse technique.

I can't leave the others to fend for themselves, though. This is real life and They would by all means die here. I have to step in and do something, even if it means putting myself at risk.

Without hesitation, I kick the second finger bearer with all my might, sending it reeling back. I need to keep both of these monstrosities occupied and away from the others. I can't let them get hurt, not on my watch.

Gritting my teeth, I engage the second finger bearer in combat. I pour everything I have into my attacks, trying to overwhelm the creature with the sheer intensity of my punches.

Every attack was stronger than the last, each one driven by the hope of landing a Black Flash. You see, I had made a binding vow in which I could not use my curse technique unless I landed a Black Flash in exchange for a higher probability of pulling off a Black Flash.

This was a risky gamble, but I hadn't taken into account another finger bearer appearing, suddenly this had gotten a lot more sticky than I would have liked.

I gritted my teeth, feeling the strain of each blow, but I refused to back down. The only way i could survive this is by getting my technique back.

I felt a sudden surge of danger as I noticed the first finger bearer had fired a curse energy blast directly at me.

There was no time to dodge - this blast was moving far too quickly. If I tried to block it, I knew I'd be saying goodbye to my hands. "Fuck it, It's now or never." I thought, steeling my resolve.

As the cursed energy blast neared him, Kamo refocused his attention completely on the second finger bearer, ignoring the incoming danger.

With a quick twist of his body, he deftly avoided the punch from the curse, and immediately prepared to counterattack with a powerful punch of his own. His movements were fluid and precise, showcasing his exceptional combat skills as he seemingly entered a trance.

At that moment, the world faded away for Kagurbachi Kamo. The curse, the cursed energy blast, the threat of death, his friends, his past - none of it even existed for him.

He was in a world of his own where the only thing that existed was him and the curse energy flowing through his fists.

As the cursed energy blast was inches away from Kamo's face, he connected his punch to the finger bearer. Sparks of black came to life, launching the curse back several meters.

Kamoooooo! Yuji screeched in horror as he watched Kamo's upper body completely disappear, consumed by the curse energy blast that had finally connected. The sheer intensity of the attack reeling him back.

Yuji watched in horror as his somewhat insane classmate, Kagurabachi Kamo, perished trying to protect him.

Kamo's upper body was completely consumed by the intense attack, his goofy and overconfident demeanor now replaced by a grim, final silence. Yuji could only stare in shock, his carefree nature momentarily shattered by the stark reality of the jujutsu world.

"Oh god, Yuji, chill out! I'm still alive and kicking," Kamo said, his cocky demeanor returning.

Yuji watched in stunned silence as Kamo's upper body reformed, the flames coalescing to restore his form. Kamo grinned, unfazed by the intense attack that had just consumed him.

Yuji blinked in surprise, his carefree nature reasserting itself as he processed Kamo's miraculous survival. "Huh? How?" he asked, his confusion evident. As a relative newcomer to the world of jujutsu, he was still learning the full extent of its arcane abilities.

Kamo's lips curled into a confident smirk as he turned to face Yuji. "Heh, that's just part of my curse technique, Itadori," he explained, his tone dripping with self-assurance.

Yuji watched, his eyes wide with a mix of awe and bewilderment, as Kamo's upper body reformed before his very eyes. The younger sorcerer's casual demeanor in the face of such a devastating attack only served to further pique Yuji's curiosity.

"Your curse technique?" Yuji echoed, his brow furrowing as he tried to make sense of what he had just witnessed.

Kamo chuckled, his gaze shifting to the two finger bearers that now faced them. "Yeah, it allows me to control and even become fire itself when attacked essentially making me immune to all physical attacks." he said, his voice laced with a hint of pride.

Megumi, who had been observing the exchange with a critical eye, stepped forward, his expression unreadable. "Intangibility and fire manipulation, huh?" he murmured, his gaze fixed on Kamo. "That's quite an impressive ability."

Yuji, his earlier shock now replaced by a newfound sense of admiration, couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. "Whoa, that's so cool!" he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Kamo's lips curled into a cocky grin. "Heh, though these finger bearers are of higher grade, they can't really hurt me" he boasted, his eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. "You two should escape and I will soon join you guys."

Yuji's eyes widened, his earlier excitement replaced by a growing sense of unease. "But what about Nobara?" he interjected, his voice laced with concern. "We can't just leave her behind!"

Kamo's confident demeanor faltered momentarily, his gaze shifting as he realized his oversight. "Shit, I completely forgot about Kugasaki," he muttered, his brow furrowing in a rare display of worry.
