All of the awkwardness spilled out of the room when Lake got Davian's zipper down, a look of expressive concern on his face.

The Alpha's dick was an angry red, it made his guilt triple. "I'm really sorry about kicking you," Lake winced, his touch gentle. "Does it still hurt?"

Davian gritted his teeth. It hurt, but not for the reason Lake thought. It had hurt when he had been kicked, but it had hurt good. The startling pleasure was what had dragged a reaction out of him.

Pain was a familiar feeling but pleasure caused by pain was not.

Neither of those sounded like a good response to Lake's question so he forced out a vague answer instead.

"It's fine."

It didn't look fine to Lake but he decided to let his actions speak for themselves.
