Chapter 7: Tony stark fainted
Tony stark POV:-
I can still hear her voice when she's walking outside with happy towards the car. I will go crazy if this continues.
(Happy hogan !! Future uncle of spider man.)
I muttered to myself
"Spider man?who is he?"
As soon as she left, I tested myself thoroughly several times over. As I waited for the results , I couldn't hear her voice anymore.
I'm pleased that as long as she's away from me, I won't be able to hear her voice. Her nonsense chatter bothers me. I still can't tell anyone clearly or say out that I heard Anna's inner voice. Every time I attempted to say it, I failed. I attempted to explain this to Jarvis, but I ended up talking gibberish. I tried so hard to utter it that I got such a bad headache that I passed out from pain.
After that, I woke up surrounded by my personal doctors. I realized it was Pepper who came to report and found me on the ground. I once again requested a thorough checkup, and results came back normal. I passed out because I'm tired and nothing else. which made me realize that woman didn't do anything to me. Maybe, as she said, she has superpowers. I need to test her .
I ordered "Jarvis, make sure Anna has a detailed medical checkup. I want to know if she's in good health before she starts working here. Make an appointment for her with our personal physician."
While Jarvis confirms the request and arranges an appointment for Anna with a Stark Industries doctor.
I continued "And Jarvis, make sure her records are thoroughly reviewed. I want to know everything there is to know about her health and medical history."
Jarvis confirms again and gets to work on gathering the information.
Pepper questioned me suspiciously
"Tony, why do you want Anna to have such a thorough checkup? Is there any reason"
I just replied casually
"Oh , just part of the standard health check-ups for employees. You know, to make sure everyone's in tip-top shape"
Pepper still continued saying,
"Okay , but don't you think it's a bit excessive? And why specifically Anna?"
I replied defensively,
"What , can't an employer care about his employee's well-being?"
Meanwhile, Anna POV:-
Happy looked at me and said
"Good morning, Miss Miller. I'm Happy Hogan, Mr. Stark's driver and bodyguard."
I replied with an awkward smile,
"Good morning. Please, call me Anna."
Happy smiled Charmingly while saying "Alright then, Anna. Are you ready to go?"
I walked towards the car with him while saying
"Yes, I am. Thank you."
Happy opens the door for me and helped me into the car. As we are on the way, he tried to make conversation.
"So, Anna, where do you work?"
I said "I Just got hired by Tony."
Happy nodded approvingly and turned the car towards my house, making small talk as he drived. He seems friendly and polite, doing his best to make me comfortable.
When I returned to my room, I felt relieved. It's too much social interaction for a small woman like me. This universe is so scary that I hate dying at random when simply going back home. I'm glad I'm still alive and well. I badly want to activate my system, but it's broken as hell.
I realized that my magical space lacked the basics, like clothes and a house. So I began building my own home in there. There seemed to be animals in the space too, but they seemed more intelligent and able to understand my words. It's a perfect paradise, and it's good for me to live here, but it would be too boring without the internet or any humans. I'll just treat this space as my emergency safe house. It's embarrassing that I have to wait until Pepper arranges my clothes at Tony's house. I can never forget this.
While I was busy with my things. I was informed to sign a few papers and finally got a text message from stark industries saying that I had officially become an employee under Tony stark. Later, Jarvis informed me that I needed to have a health checkup.
If I was same woman as before I would have rejected it immediately and become crazy with overthinking. Somehow this pure aura seemed to work it's charm and I calmly accepted the health checkup. people will find out about super powers sooner or later so it didn't matter if they find something from this check-up.
I need to build up my power to protect myself in this chaotic world and I can't be passively waiting in my room for death anymore. I need powerful Allies who will protect me and maybe if I behave well Tony stark will become my first layer of protection in this world. Only those who have greatest power or those who are extremely rich and has contacts around the world can live well. If I totally depend on this broken system to get activated then I'll become old .
