Chapter 62: The Curtain Ends, The Influence Spreads

"...You two are really lucky!"

Hovering in the sky, Kahn, in his dragon form, looked down at Sengoku and Kizaru on the 7th island, sighing.

Sengoku first glanced at the disappearing No. 6 island, then looked up at the dragon above, gritting his teeth. "Cross Kahn, you wicked brat!"

"No way, the opponent is a legend from the previous era like you."

Gazing at Sengoku, who showed no signs of breath disorder but had taken a few breaths, Kahn's long, narrow red pupils flashed with a strange light. Half-truthfully, he exclaimed, "As expected of a top candidate for the next Marine Fleet Admiral. Even my most powerful secrets can't hurt you in the slightest."

"...So, let's call it a day!"

After some hesitation, Kahn didn't land.

Instead, he took a deep look at Sengoku and then glanced at Kizaru, whose face was marked with scalds and who showed a rare expression of anger. Kahn suddenly turned his head and shouted in one direction, "Hancock, it's time to go."

After speaking, under the watchful eyes of Sengoku and Kizaru, Kahn flew towards the Red Line, his wings creating a powerful gust of wind.

Swish—

At the same time, a blue-white lightning appeared above Kahn, forming the figure of Hancock, who landed on the back of the dragon.

Using telekinesis to eliminate the air barrier, Kahn flew away from Sabaody Archipelago at an incredible speed, disappearing in a few blinks of an eye.

Watching Kahn leave, neither Sengoku nor Kizaru made a move to stop him.

Because it didn't make any sense.

In a battle between the strong, you can judge if the opponent's Haki is running out by sensing the strength of their breath with Observation Haki.

If Kahn's aura had been extremely weak, even with a powerful ally like Hancock, Sengoku and Kizaru would have used all their strength to bring him down.

However, Kahn, despite having unleashed multiple natural disasters, still had an aura as strong and vibrant as the sun.

Kahn's monstrous physical strength made both Sengoku and Kizaru suspect he could perform his Catastrophe again.

Additionally, only Kizaru's speed could match Kahn's flight, while Sengoku's Moonwalk couldn't keep up with Kahn's air barrier elimination.

Kizaru, who had been severely burned by Kahn, was in no condition to chase him.

Reflecting on the earlier waterspouts and water dragons, Sengoku began to understand the source of the great flood.

Kahn's telekinetic power not only enhanced his Observation Haki but extended its range to incredible levels.

His telekinetic power could control anything within his perception range.

The great flood came from the sky because Kahn used telekinesis to control the seawater outside the Sabaody Archipelago, beyond the range of Sengoku and Kizaru's Observation Haki, and brought it into the air to await his command.

So, Sengoku didn't dare let Kizaru go after Kahn.

If Kahn repeated his previous tactic with tornadoes or waterspouts from the sea, Kizaru, the future Marine Admiral, might be lost.

Marine isn't a CP organization, and Sengoku isn't merely a shield for the Celestial Dragons.

Without assurance of capturing Kahn, he wouldn't sacrifice his lieutenants for the Celestial Dragons' sake.

After today's battle, Sengoku understood Kahn's strength.

As Kahn mentioned, he had the strength of two monsters. While Marine and CP focused on the Roger Pirates, Kahn had quietly grown into a formidable force.

One Admiral alone couldn't win against Kahn.

It would require Garp's help or a combination of the three Logia Vice Admirals—Borsalino, Kuzan, and Sakazuki—to ensure a victory.

Even with Garp and their Vice Admirals, capturing Kahn would be impossible unless Kahn's Logia Thunder Fruit ally was absent.

Thinking of this, Sengoku felt a headache.

With Garp away from Naval Headquarters, meeting Kahn and Hancock again, this young and powerful duo would be even more challenging.

Sengoku hoped the three Admirals could grow stronger quickly; otherwise, Marine would face a tough future with potentially five pirate overlords in the Great Pirate Era.

Looking at the battered Kizaru, Sengoku sighed inwardly.

"Master, your power is amazing!"

Meanwhile, on the back of the dragon flying away from Sabaody Archipelago towards their ship, Hancock lay on Kahn's neck, admiring, "That move was incredible! Even that Marine Admiral and Kizaru couldn't beat you!"

"You're wrong, Hancock," Kahn replied, shaking his head helplessly. "On the contrary, I am not the Marine Admiral's match."

Just as Sengoku and Kizaru sensed Kahn's still-strong aura, Kahn also sensed Sengoku's undiminished strength, prompting him to leave instead of landing.

Kahn had hoped to exhaust Sengoku's Haki and physical fitness with his "Profound Technique: Catastrophe" and then "ask" him for advanced Haki techniques.

But his expectations were thwarted.

Sengoku, the future Marine Fleet Admiral, truly embodied the ultimate mind, skill, and body.

For decades, no one had scarred Sengoku—not even Whitebeard, the World's Strongest Man.

And now, Kahn couldn't either.

Kahn used two-thirds of his stamina performing "The Great Cataclysm."

Though the remaining third still made him a monster, Sengoku withstood the attack, likely using about half his stamina without any scars, only slight shortness of breath.

Kahn, who had played all his cards, would be overwhelmed if the fight continued. Sengoku wouldn't even need advanced Haki.

Moreover, the earlier explosions had alarmed Marineford and Mariejois.

With only a third of his stamina left, continuing to fight near the Naval Headquarters and World Government would be disastrous, even with Hancock's help.

So, Kahn, realizing the gap between himself and the world's peak, decided not to take further risks.

At just fifteen, he still had time to learn the most advanced use of Conqueror's Haki without taking such risks.

With Kahn gone, the Marine continued purging the Sabaody Archipelago.

The impact of the Celestial Dragons' killing began to spread, quickly reaching the major forces through their spies in the "centre of the world."

The whole world was soon shocked!
