Luciana didn't dare to go to the company afraid that her father would humiliate her in front of the employees due to his anger.

She felt that it would be safe if she first went home and confided everything to her mother so that when her father got home her mother would defend her.

"Miss, you are back?" the butler said with a smile on his face.

"Mmh," she said as she walked past the latter as she wasn't in the mood to greet people or even listen to their flattery.

"Where is Mother?" she asked with a frown when she didn't find her mother in the living room.

"Mrs Adams went out shopping with her friends. I don't think that she would even be back for lunch. Miss, will be staying for lunch? Should I ask the chef to prepare your favorite meals for you?" the butler asked with a smile as he stared at the latter.
