"Starting tomorrow, you will become the Hokage."
"Saru, I'm leaving Konoha to you." These were the courageous last words of a man prepared to sacrifice himself for the sake of some useless children today but would someday become renowned ninjas in the future.
He chose to serve as a decoy, willing to die a martyr's death to protect these children.
In the blink of an eye, his figure vanished from the scene, leaving the children to mourn the imminent loss of their teacher.
"Let's not waste the Hokage's sacrifice. Move!" Hiruzen Sarutobi, the new leader of the group, commanded, immediately guiding them away from the danger.
They ran, leaping from tree to tree, rushing as a group, tears streaming down their faces as they lamented the Hokage's sacrifice.
For three intense minutes, they raced through the forest, their escape seemingly assured, until a sudden interruption shattered their hopes.
From the shadows, a deadly projectile, a dark pebble charged with spiritual energy, hurtled towards them, homing in on one of their own.
"PUCHI!" With a sickening splatter, one head erupted in a gruesome display of blood and gore.
Yet, our protagonist was already celebrating within the safety of the secret hideout where he lay concealed far away from old man Yamamoto.
"DING!"
"Congratulations, host! You have earned one summoning chance," the voice of the system resonated in the ears of our protagonist.
"Hehehe. Bye bye, Danzo. You really are a game changer," our mc chuckled, his mind already racing with plans.
He wouldn't lose any sleep over masterminding the killing of young Danzo, as he harbored a deep hatred for that character in the anime. Hindsight was truly op in this game.
Hurriedly, our mc then utilized his newfound summoning chance. If luck was on his side, there would still be one more plot twist to do before the day was over.
"DING!"
"One summoning chance consumed..."
"Summoning souls from the high heavens..."
"Summoning successful… Please choose from among the three choices to summon, host," the same enchanting female voice intoned.
