"Ugh..." Groaned the despondent man from earlier. Pain wracked his entire body, and his throat felt parched and throbbing.
It took him nearly five minutes to assess his condition, though it offered no relief as he was consumed by the excruciating agony pulsating through his head.
Memories that weren't his flooded in, and it didn't take long for him to realize where he was. He found himself in a xianxia world where strength reigned supreme.
Upon this realization, he simply smiled sadly, uttered no words, and resigned himself to lie in the cold surroundings, expecting to meet death once more, having just been transmigrated moments ago.
Fortunately, he possessed the typical "golden fingers" that protagonists like him often received.
