Chapter 107: FOOLISH ENOUGH TO GAMBLE

Maria was really one tough nut to crack. She was unwaveringly hell-bent with her bargain on me and didn't even permit me to negotiate further with her. Because of my eagerness to know more about her as I was extremely piqued about her life's background, I had eaten one of my life's principles and agreed to her persistent demand. 

After she closed her shop, I intentionally took her some place farther from where we usually headed. I had in mind the possibility of Gabriel and her accidentally meeting, so I decided to have a short trip and take her elsewhere. In less than an hour's travel, we arrived at a secluded yet world-renowned two-michelin stars restaurant that specializes in Italian Cuisines. This place isn't unlike the previous ones we've been at, merely because the people who dined here are exclusively platinum and gold members of the restaurant, which I also did intentionally so there wouldn't be a chance for her to pay for our meals.
