Chapter 55: RIGHT THING TO DO

The minute my body collapsed at the back seat of the car, the tears I was suppressing hard not to fall fell freely and on its own accord. It poured down like a liberally falling waterfall, gushing in torrents with intensity and adamant volume. Even though I wanted to stop myself from being so emotional and melodramatic, my eyes wouldn't cooperate. My chest was heaving with such a burden. It was heavily weighted as unimaginable violent pain tormented it down to its very core. 

"Are you alright, Mrs. Levine? Is something the matter?" Black's voice was full of concern, which only led me to whimper even more.
