Racheal made her way toward the school garden after receiving a text from Jessica. Upon arriving, she found Jessica sitting on a bench, waiting for her.
"Hi there," Racheal greeted quietly as she approached, her bag slung over her shoulder like someone burdened with the weight of the world. "I received your text."
"I told you to stay away from Henry, but you told me he's the one who's staying away from you now?" Jessica asked, her arms crossed over her chest.
"Yes! He sat beside me today and started apologizing," Racheal replied with a heavy sigh. "To be honest, he's a fool. I don't understand how he could still want to associate with someone who tried to kill him."
"Hmmm… well, he does seem like a fool to me. Or maybe he's grown fond of you," Jessica said thoughtfully, her hand resting on her chin.
"That's impossible," Racheal shot back immediately, surprising Jessica.
