Chapter 17: The hidden mage
After some time, Lawrence went back to a sitting position and looked at Elder Aisha. The village chieftess is sleeping beside him.
"I apologise that you need to witness all of that elder Aisha" Lawrence said politely while slightly bowing his head
"It is fine, although I'm a little worried for my daughter. It looks like she was in so much pain earlier that she even pe*d multiple times while slightly trembling," the elder said while looking at her daughter with a worried look
In pain my ass just look at your daughter woman, it felt too good for her she even passed out smiling
"Don't worry elder I can assure you that I didn't harm her in any way, would you like to experience it yourself?" Lawrence asked with a sincere smile
Well technically your daughter's body is fine but I can't say the same thing for her mind. It's probably a little broken now.
"I shall try it on a later date, I asked them to bring you here to speak with you. It will defeat the purpose of bringing you here if I fall asleep like my daughter" Elder Aisha said with a smile.
I should take things slowly with this one. I'm not sure how she will react if I take advantage of her like what I did to her daughter since she's one of the oldest or maybe the oldest elf here in the village. She seems clueless as to what I did to her daughter but I'm not a hundred percent sure.
"If that is what you want Elder. May I ask why you called for me?" Lawrence asked
"As I said earlier aside from wanting to hear from you what the goddess Esmeralda said. I also want to give to you what Elder Micarnavo left behind" Elder Aisha said with a smile
"Elder, may I what happened to Elder Micarnavo?" Lawrence asked with a curious face
"He left the village one day and never returned. I, among with the other village elders don't know what happened to him. He usually goes out the barrier and comes back within months. It's been a long time so I don't know how long exactly it's been since he last returned. But since the goddess Esmeralda herself said that you are the last elven male. We assumed he also died somewhere"
Damn, so he was only missing but presumed dead? I have a bad feeling about this. I hope what the goddess told me was true. Cause if he's still alive somewhere and suddenly returned I might need to kill him myself.
"Elder, you and Elder Micarnavo seemed close to each other, may I ask if you two are husband and wife and is he also the father of the village chieftess?
"Yes he is the father of my two daughters, but he is not my husband. He was only my partner during the full moon" The elder replied
Not his husband but the father of her daughter and only a partner during the full moon? So she's a sl*t?
Lawrence stares at the elder dumbfoundedly
"hm, why are you looking at me strangely child? Ah, I forgot you lost your memories. I shall explain it to you. Unlike you who got married and can only have a single partner during the full moon all your life. We unmarried ones can have a chosen partner to form a child with during the full moon. All of us do not live together with our chosen partner unlike the married ones who do"
So some elves were like friends with benefits before. Damn, good thing you little sh*ts didn't even know how to mate property. Even the chieftess who had a daughter before is still so tight. It feels like you all save yourselves for me. Now that the elven men are gone, I might be able to visit a random house and blow off some steam. I am the last elven male, after all, I'm sure I can bend their custom a little.
On that note
"Elder, may I ask how many elves are here?"
"Before there were 4,700 inside elves the village and 800 outside in small settlements around it. But after the beast killed all the elven men, there are only 4,500 left."
What the hell there were about 4 female elves to choose from for a single male before. I mean there are still infants, children, and those who haven't reached their age yet but it's all the same. Those f*ckers deserved what happened to them. Don't worry my fallen fellow elven males, I'll make sure to deeply fill in the holes you left behind, including this one in front of me. *cough*
"Here is what Elder Micarnavo left behind" Elder Aisha gave Lawrence a stack of dried leaves
"hm, what are this Elder Aisha?"
"These stack of leaves contain all that elder Micarnavo left behind, the information about the beast, its strengths and weaknesses. The different herb's effects and where it can be found. The different species surrounding us and their location. And there are some things that we elders do not know the meaning of. We elders hope that you, who can talk to goddess Esmeralda can enlighten us ." Elder Aisha said expectantly.
" I see, do not worry elder Aisha, I shall examine all of this once I arrive home"
"Alright, you may take your leave now, your wife must be waiting for you" Elder Aisha said with a smile.
"Then I shall take my leave now elder. Thank you for providing me with this information" Lawrence said with a smile
Lawrence then headed out and walked towards the direction of his house. While he is looking at the leaf with an illustration of a beast
These elves use some dry leaves to draw and write, like how humans use paper and ink brushes, elves use dry palm-sized tree leaves and a pointed stick to write and draw.
Damn, How can Elder Micarnavo know so much about beasts? How the hell did he even manage to travel around with all the beasts and other species out to get him? Was he a mage?

At the edge of the dead land, a male haft demon is riding a demonic wolf with red eyes, 2 large fangs and sharp claws. He is wearing a black cloak that covers his entire body, and he has a bow made from a bone of a huge monster on his back.
The wolf is running at a fast speed towards a certain direction. while the man is manipulating arrows made of steel to swirl around him using his wind energy
