Chapter 29: Chapter 29: Aaron Takes Ash for a Stroll

Aaron was accepted into the Adventurers Guild, over a week after he rested and packed his stuff, he left home to the Adventurers Guild in order to start his rank up quests.

Before he left however, "Mother, Father, can I bring Ash into the village, there's something I want to show her?" asked Aaron. Max and Saffiyah were just lounging around on the couch when they both looked up at him. "Sure" said Saffiyah as ax went back to fiddling with a dagger he was playing with. Aaron smiled and ran outside, "Hey Ash, want to see your older brother's secret training spot?" Ash looked at him smiling, "Lets Go!". Ash got off the ground from doing push ups and took off the training gear, "Follow me" said Aaron as both he and Ash ran off.

"Hey Ash, dont tell anyone about this spot, it is really well hidden and there are really weak monsters there, I'll show you how I use the place to train '' said Aaron. "Alright, I got it" said Ash who had a look of determination. "Brother, is it how you managed to become so strong?" asked Ash, "I only use it to train my reaction speed and agility" said Aaron who didnt slow down in his light jog. While Aaron was only jogging, Ash had sweat rolling down her cheek as she was in a full on sprint using mana just to keep up. "How do you train there?" asked Ash who was confused. "Well, the monster just throws mud balls at you, I just dodge around and parry them," said Aaron. "We're here" said Aaron as he slowed down, he gestured to Ash to follow him in.

"I'll show you first so that you get the gist of training here" Ash nodded to this as she stood a little further back. Aaron had a toothy smile as he leapt far into the cave, landing on a very familiar spot to him, Ash looked confused as to why nothing was happening, when all of a sudden. Mud balls came from every direction, all Ash could see was Aaron dodging every single attack with mimimum movement, one of the mud balls was aimed right at his stomach, and Aaron simply pivoted his body and dodged the mud ball. "Want a try?" asked Aaron, to which Ash rushed over, although multiple mud balls managed to hit her.

Ash suffered multiple blows from the relentless mud balls, "Hey Ash, trust your gots and senses and just move your body, it's like gliding through the wind or even dancing". Despite having said this, Ash received a mud ball in her face, she was blinded and panicked. "Don't panic, that's something that will get you hurt or even worse" said Aaron who appeared next to ash and used his life magic to clean her face. Ash rushed over to the spot, receiving Aarons help by deflecting the mud balls before they could reach Ash using simple mana shielding on his hand. Ash saw this, Aaron was shocked the next second as Ash did a mana manifestation of a gauntlet, one of the mud balls that was aimed for the back of her head was then punched and exploded in a scarily shocking manner as Ash wasnt even able to react or stay composed in front of the many mud balls.

"Look older brother, I did it!" exclaimed Ash who saw a smile on Aarons face. "So, you're a gauntlet user, it's no wonder you didnt react to that spear at that time, both me and dad thought that you were going to be a Staff weapon user" said Aaron. Ash was confused, "Why?" "That's because normally adventurers with high mastery over a certain weapon can actually pass down their talent for a certain weapon, for example I inherited Dad's spear mastery, in fact at your age I could already use the spear to the basic level" said Aaron. "Anyways, I'm not gonna protect you anymore in this place from now on" Ash remembered where they were and took on a fighting stance.

Two mud balls charged straight at Ash, to which Ash threw a jab with her left hand and then a right hook, both attacks connected and blasted the mud balls. "Careful Ash, these monsters are fragile, focus on dodging and parrying" Ash nodded, over the course of two hours, Ash mostly parried or countered, it was only after the second hour that she managed to actually dodge a mud ball. "BIG BROTHER AARON, I DODGED!" said Ash who the next second had a mud ball splash on her face. Aaron laughed at the sight, "Let's go now, I'll take you to my favorite bakery in the village". Ash exclaimed as she quickly used life magic to clean up and dashed out of the cave with Aaron. They both dashed towards the town, Aaron led the way and brought them to the center, then the both of them took multiple turns until they arrived at a building with a bakery sign hanging over the door. The both of them walked in, Ash exclaimed as she smelled the aroma of freshly baked goods, Aaron walked over to the counter. "Hello, can I get two Siaopaos and two Ensyamadas please", "Sure thing, coming right up" said a bald old man with a white haired goatee. He packed two separate bags and walked back over to the counter, "That will be 400 Walice". Aaron took out a small space pouch and paid. The two siblings left the store and walked home eating their food.

*Siaopao is a steamed bun with a kind of curry inside, there usually is pork, beef, or chicken with a sunny side up inside of it. An ensyamada is kind of like a cinnamon roll but there is sugary butter that coats the top.

Walice is the currency of the world, it's a coin and the conversion for it is basically 100 Walice being 1 USD in comparison, likewise, 29 Walice is just 29 cents in USD. The name is inspired by my whale plush that's named Wallice*
