Best ASOIF fanfic hands down, the negative reviewers are children with zero patience and have not read the full story. Thanks for such a treat. It's truly a delight to read.
There aren't many GOT fanfics out here on Webnovel. I saw the name and came to read it, but it wasn't what I was expecting. It's better to rename this fic from Game of Thrones to House of the Dragon, or specify in synopsis that it's House of The Dragon Timeline(I think the content is 150+ years before the Game of Throne Timeline, and the content doesn't include the GOT DLC, or I assume that from what I have observed so far xD) I haven't watched the House of the Dragons yet, so I was confused for couple dozen chapters until someone explained to me that this isn't from the GOT saga, but the House of the Dragon saga.
I know this is a FanFiction, but for me it's better than the original content and many other "original" works.As you progress through the story, it gets better.
Writing 4/5 Stability 5/5 Story 3/5 Character Design 2/5 World 3/5 Total Score: 3.4 At first it was entertaining. The idea behind the story was interesting, and the development was logical. Later, after 300 or so chapters onwards, the quality gradually started to decline. The last 200 to 100 chapters were only worse. The ending was illogical, and the character development stopped mattering, with them acting randomly as NPCs. I can still say that it was a read to pass the time, if you are really bored.

Awesome fanfiction. I would say its probably the best HoD fanfic out of like hundred I read. Writing quality is awesome, characters are believable and MC is very strong on brink of being overpowered just how I like it.
I enjoyed this fic all the way into the 346 chapter. It honestly exceeded my expectations but the one problem for me that just kinda made the story drag is it's too filled with filler chapters I mean it was cool at first but after a while it gets old. Don't get me wrong it's a pretty good fic and I do like that dragon lore and other stuff but after a while I just want to read the main storyline without all the miscellaneous adventures the mc goes on really starts to kill my enthusiasm especially when they barely actually add to content then their only mentioned one or two times after. Overall tho pretty good fic if you can deal the really slow pace that is dragged unnecessarily .
It has it's slice-of-life like moments while maintaining action, politics and adventure moments as well and because of the system, we get to enjoy the many unexplored lores that weren't shown in the TV version. Overall it's worth your time, so give it a try.

Always anticipating what's next. I will like to invite all my fellow readers who is searching for a worthy read. I condemn those who gave it bad reviews simply just reading the description and assuming about this book without reading it. I just wholeheartedly wish author to complete this story.
The first few chapters were supposed to be about his goals and personality, but that wasn't the case. The story is full of scenes with little meaning that should have been scrapped. The main character is immature at random moments just because of the author's fangirling. Besides these, there are several other problems too early on
The fanfic is surprisingly competent despite it being a Chinese fanfiction. There are still hints of Chinese writing culture here but I do believe it stuck closely to the themes and setting of game of thrones. But after reading up to chapter 354 I'm getting tired of the plot, the schemes, the dialogue, and especially the characters. Honestly, I only have a problem with one character and that is Rhaenyra. Throughout the story I've always questioned what has Rhaenyra done so far in these 300 chapters aside from being a pain to read about. She is spoiled and arrogant with the one of the few saving graces is she was nice to the MC when he was young. Which I found rather odd since the MC has stated that he wasn't treated well when he was sick but this was never shown. The MC's orders were always followed and he was never shown to be mistreated. So this blind loyalty and affection for Rhaenyra just comes off wrong and forced. She always dictates her will over him and he follows like a blind puppy. She honestly should never have been the main female lead. As for everyone else, they are dumb and despite having motives and desires, always performs stupid schemes that never work out and only serve to show how smart and domineering the MC is despite him just brute forcing every political scheme. Overall the novel tries to capture the essence of GOT but fails with setups/buildups, characters, and overall direction of the story.
bro did NOT become crown prince for ONE day. lies on the title. Instant 0 stars. but anyway, this is probably the best fanfiction I have ever read, the plot cohesion, the grammar and English standards in general, and the characters actually seem real and in tune with the characters from the show or book. it doesn't even seem like a fanfic. really good stuff. MC's cheat makes him really powerful, but not to the extent that it doesn't fit in with the world like many other fanfics. Authors makes it fit with the lore of the world and seem natural.
Really good book I do think you should do a Game of Thrones the song of ice and fire version you could even tie in a original vampire

It’s probably the best GOT or HOD fan-fic out there. It starts slow but it’s pick up pace after like 50 chapters. I’ve been binge reading the novel and believe I have fallen in love with the story.

Simply fantastic, as the story continued to progress the plot and story line keeps pulling my interest and curiosity on what will happen next on each chapter and even though it is a translation Faction, you wouldn't even know if there is an influence by Eastern writing style but considered it a western one.
I've read the translation in MTL, but sometimes I'm confused with the dialogues in the novel, because the grammar when translated is very bad. Fun fact: MC becomes the King of Westeros and the Emperor of Volantis in the last chap what i read in MTL.
Never have I ever regretted reading this, Even though the author said it was translated, it was so well done it felt like the original. Props to you Author!! This fic is very good, completely changed the cannon from the beginning and I really like the pace. Trust me, if you're a fan of HOTD or the franchise this one is good to read, I guarantee it.
