Tessa's mouth opened up and black smoke burst out from it. Sir Mateo and everyone in the scene were flabbergasted. They had no idea what was going on, and they had never seen anything like this before. 

Roy's eyes were widely opened. Never did he imagine Klaus to be a doctor and with this kind of knowledge. Klaus was basically going to extract Eli's corrupt energy from Tessa's body, a feast only a high level medical practitioner would be able to do. 

When Klaus brought out the needles, he thought Klaus wanted to create a dramatic scene, but this was no joke, this was real, and he was in deep trouble for standing close to Klaus. Roy's eyes widened more, if he was in trouble, then Sir Mateo was pretty much dead. 

Just as he expected, the smoke formed a circle around them. The weakest person among them would be the corrupt energy next target which was surely sir Mateo.
