Natalia raised her head at the sound of footsteps approaching her. It was her father, who had come to torture her into telling him where the key to the vault was.

Or so she thought.

Until some men dragged in a roughly treated Zorislav into the underground room and tossed him to the floor, next to the bed Natalia was chained to.

"What are you doing here?" Natalia asked him, as she watched him hold his bandaged neck.

"That damned Vasily." He cursed, coughing painfully in-between his words.

"Vasily? Hey? What did he do? I don't understand." She knew that Alessander's maternal uncle was a good for nothing, who'd sell out his own nephew for a quick buck.

But for Vasily, one of his allies to have gotten to him first, he must've really screwed up.

Zorislav turned to her with anger in his eyes. "Tch, you bitch. Why would I tell you that? It's not like you're in a position to help me."
