Chapter 11: If you cant convince with words then use violence

Raku Ichijou fidgeted in his seat, sweat beading on his forehead. The silence in the room stretched taut, punctuated only by his nervous movements. Three other figures shared the tense atmosphere.

"Raku, what's wrong? You're in front of your new girlfriend! Man up a little," his father, Issei, boomed, patting him awkwardly on the back.

Raku wanted to snap back. After all, it was his father who'd strong-armed him into this charade – playing boyfriend-girlfriend with a notorious gangster's daughter. While his own yakuza lineage prevented outright defiance, Chitoge Kirisaki's personality presented a whole other set of problems. The blonde across from him, with a smirk twisting her lips, was notorious for her violent outbursts and superhuman strength.

"Bean sprout," Chitoge sneered, the nickname dripping with condescension, "think you're too good to be my boyfriend, shivering there like a scared rabbit?"

Raku gritted his teeth, a reflex that only fueled Chitoge's simmering anger. "Shut your trap, gorilla woman! This is a whole other can of worms!"

"Say that again, you shrimp!" Chitoge roared, slamming her fist on the table. The force of it seemed to rattle the room. "I dare you! Double dare you!"

"What's the big deal, gorilla woman? You wanna throw down?" Raku shot back, his voice tight.

The bickering erupted into a full-blown argument within seconds. Their fathers, Issei and Adelt, the respective heads of the Shuei Clan and Bee Hive Gang, scrambled to intervene. But before they could utter a word, the door burst open, admitting two imposing figures.

"Young master," Ryuu, Shuei Clan's right hand, barked, his hand flying to the hilt of his katana. "Just say the word, and every last one of these gangsters will bleed!"

"The hell did you just say?!" Claude, Bee Hive's second-in-command, countered, his voice cold as he aimed a pistol directly at Ryuu. "Think you can get past me?"

Faced with the imminent threat of a bloody confrontation, Raku and Chitoge exchanged a panicked look. Before either could speak, Chitoge reached out, her grip surprisingly strong despite the nickname. Clasping Raku's hand, she plastered a sickeningly sweet smile on her face.

"Nothing to see here! Just discussing… our marriage plans with my future husband!" she declared, her voice dripping with forced enthusiasm.

"The fuck a husband—oh yeah!" Raku also decided to play along, "We were planning our future!"

The sight of their children, the supposed lovebirds, calmed the enraged lieutenants. With wary glances exchanged, they sheathed their weapons and slunk out of the room.

Relief washed over the remaining occupants – Issei, Raku, Chitoge, and Adelt, Chitoge's father. They had narrowly averted a full-blown gang war. Despite the personal bond between Issei and Adelt, their underlings seemed perpetually on the verge of bloodshed.

Issei, still reeling, finally managed to sputter, "So Raku, what is wrong with you? I don't think it's about Chitoge-san."

Adelt and Chitoge mirrored Issei's gaze, their eyes boring into Raku for an answer.

Raku gulped, scratching his cheek nervously. "Actually," he mumbled, "because I didn't want to date the gorilla- I mean, Kirisaki-san, I kinda… spilled the beans to my big brother."

"You did what?!" Issei's jaw dropped, a mixture of fear and fury contorting his face.

"Ah, shit…" Adelt, meanwhile, groaned and massaged his temples with a grimace.

Chitoge, however, remained blissfully unaware of the escalating tension.

"Wait, why is everyone so uptight?" she questioned, her brow furrowed. Her gaze flickered between Raku and the others. "Who is your brother, and why are you all freaking out?"

"He is..." Before Raku could answer, a heavy, suffocating presence descended upon the room. Time seemed to freeze, the only sound the rhythmic tick of the clock echoing in the sudden stillness. Even the gentle rustling of leaves outside ceased.

In unison, all four occupants whipped their heads towards the door. Standing there, bathed in the afternoon sunlight filtering through the window, was a tall, blond-haired man clad in a sharp, black three-piece suit. His expression was a chilling smirk, his eyes narrowed like a predator sizing up its prey.

"Sup, my little distant family~!" he drawled, his voice laced with amusement and a hint of menace. His gaze flickered to Raku before hardening into a fierce glare. "So, who's the idiot trying to force my brother to marry a fat, ugly gorilla woman?"

"So, this is the 'gorilla girl' you were talking about?" Leo quirked an eyebrow, his gaze landing on the blonde who instantly hissed in response.

Raku couldn't help but stifle a laugh. "Pfft! Sorry, but yeah, that's her."

Leo's glare snapped towards his brother, making the teenager flinch. "And you're only supposed to be dating, not getting married?"

"Sorry, you cut me off before I could explain, big bro," Raku apologized, his eyes reflecting a mix of excitement at seeing Leo again and apprehension about his brother's reaction.

Leo groaned, slapping his palm against his face. He'd completely forgotten about being entangled with an anime family. That's right, Leo was none other than Raku Ichijou's older brother, thrust into the world of the rom-com anime, Nisekoi. A classic 200+ chapter love story where two high schoolers, children of rival yakuza gangs, were forced to fake-date for peace. Of course, they eventually fall in love, yada yada yada, happily ever after.

Leo nearly kicked himself for forgetting his life mirrored the anime, and the events of Nisekoi were about to unfold.

Shifting his attention to the fuming blonde, Leo spoke. "And you," he started, causing her to flinch again.

"Y-yes?" she stammered.

"Aren't you Hana's daughter?"

Chitoge's eyes widened. "You? You know my mother?"

"Of course I know the woman," Leo replied with a smile. "We've done some business deals together back in the day." He knew Chitoge's mother, Hana Kirisaki, as a fellow independent businesswoman, just like his own mother.

Leo's gaze flickered to Adelt, who responded only by grinding his teeth. "Didn't that old geezer tell you? He knows me too. Look at his stupid face begging for mercy," Leo chuckled, earning a scowl from Adelt.

"What is going on…?" Chitoge was still confused. Suddenly, an unknown person had shown up, who seemed to be Raku's older brother. However, judging by the tense gazes of her father and Raku's father, she could tell they didn't hold Raku's brother in high regard. Though she had to admit, she would likely agree to date the handsome Leo over a bean sprout like Raku.

"Enough!" Issei roared, breaking the tense silence. "Leo, what are you doing here?"

Leo raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk gracing his lips. "Whoa, hold on there, pops. What's with the hostility? Finally considering disowning your firstborn?"

Issei pinched the bridge of his nose, frustration evident. "It's not like that..."

"Relax, pops," Leo chuckled, patting Raku's head with a confident air. "You know whenever I show up, everything gets straightened out. Even though miles separate us, this beta male is still my brother."

Raku puffed out his chest, basking in the unexpected praise with a goofy grin. "Big bro, hehehe!"

Chitoge's brow furrowed in confusion. Raku was acting completely different around his brother, almost submissive. Was he a bro-con?

Both Issei and Adelt sighed in defeat, seemingly resigned to the situation.

Chitoge, however, remained bewildered. She watched as Leo strode outside, facing the assembled members of both gangs.

"So your young master and young mistress aren't a thing. They don't like each other," Leo announced with a smirk. "So yeah, make peace and go fuck each other."

Issei and Adelt buried their faces in their hands, mortified by Leo's bluntness. Chitoge, on the other hand, could only shriek, "THAT'S IT?!"

"M-master Leo… even though you have returned, you have already relinquished your rights in the clan…!" Ryuu protested, his voice trembling as he raised his sword.

"And I also have no reason to obey Mister Leonidas!" Claude interjected, raising his gun and signaling Ryuu to form a temporary alliance against this formidable figure.

Seeing this, Leo's smirk widened into a predator's grin.

"There's a saying," he drawled, his voice laced with a dangerous undercurrent. "Ask nicely first. But if your opponents are deaf to reason..." With a flourish, a sword materialized in one hand, a gun in the other. "...then it's time for violence."
