37."Did I come at a bad time?"

After taking a shower, I made my way downstairs. As I descended, I spotted Anu and Ammu chatting with Raji. Seeing them brought a smile to my face, and I approached them with a cheerful, "Hey, girls!"

Hearing my voice, they looked up. Ammu immediately sprang from her seat and rushed over to me. "Krishna!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around me in a warm hug. I smiled, hugging her back, then kissed her forehead. "How are you?"

"I'm fine, but I missed you," she said, her voice tinged with genuine affection.

"I missed you too," I replied softly. Then, I turned my attention to Anu, who was still seated, looking at me with a warm smile. "Come here," I said, beckoning her.

She stood up and approached me, and we hugged tightly. "How's my girl doing?" I asked gently.

"I missed you," Anu whispered, her voice muffled against my shoulder.

"I missed you too," I said, kissing her forehead. We then settled on the sofa, Anu and Ammu still clinging to me, their presence filling me with warmth.

Just then, I noticed my father approaching us. I smiled broadly and stood up. "Papa!" I exclaimed, stepping forward to hug him.

"Ha ha, Krishna! How are you?" he asked, his voice filled with joy.

"I'm fine," I replied, feeling a rush of happiness. At that moment, my mother also joined us, taking a seat nearby. We all began to talk, catching up on the latest news and events in our lives.

After talking for a while, my parents excused themselves, leaving just the four of us—Raji, Anu, Ammu, and me—seated in the hall. The atmosphere grew cozy and intimate. Suddenly, Ammu looked at me with a mischievous glint in her eye. She moved her finger playfully across my chest and said softly, "Krishna."

"Yes?" I responded, curious about what was on her mind.

Instead of Ammu replying, Anu chimed in, a playful smile on her face. "We heard from Raji that something happened between you two."

Feigning ignorance, I asked, smiling, "Ha, what are you talking about?"

Ammu swiftly got up and seated herself on my lap, facing me. Her finger traced circles on my chest as she seductively and playfully said, "We're talking about what happened between you two last night."

Realization dawned on me. I glanced at Raji, who was also smiling playfully. She got up from her spot and sat close to me. Now, Ammu was on my lap, Anu was on one side, and Raji was on the other.

Ammu took my hand slowly and placed it on her hip. Bringing her face close to mine, she asked seductively, "So, what do you want to say about that, mister?"

I looked at the three of them, their eyes sparkling with mischief. "It's not like that," I began, trying to maintain my composure. "And what are you three doing? We're in the hall. What if Ma or Papa see us?"

Anu held my arm and said, smiling seductively, "No one's going to see us. And even if they do, they'll just think their son and daughters-in-law are spending time together."

The situation felt surreal. The warmth of their affection, combined with their playful teasing, made my heart race.

The atmosphere grew cozy and intimate. Suddenly, Anu leaned in and kissed my neck, sending a shiver down my spine. "What the hell is going on?" I thought.

Ammu, with a mischievous smile, said, "Yeah, and what does 'it's not like that' mean? Raji already told us you're a hungry beast."

I turned to Raji, who was smiling playfully. Then I looked back at Ammu, whose face was inches from mine. "It's not my fault. Raji came into the room, and didn't she mention that we didn't do anything?"

Raji giggled and said playfully, "Oh, so it's my fault then? I guess I'll just have to do it again." She started to kiss my neck. Anu kissed the other side, their soft lips making my skin tingle.

Ammu, not wanting to be left out, said seductively, "So this is my spot then," and after saying that, she kissed my lips.

I felt a surge of heat as Ammu and I parted. "If you want this, then..." I began, picking Ammu up from my lap. She wrapped her legs around me, holding on tight. I looked at Anu and Raji, who were both blushing. Smiling, I said, "If you all want that, then let's go inside the room."

They blushed deeper and said in unison, "We were joking, Krishna."

I grinned and said, "But I'm not," and started to pull them gently towards the room. The playful mood filled the air with electricity, their eyes sparkling with excitement and embarrassment.

Just then, we heard the main door opening and Bheeshma's voice calling out, "Ma, I'm back."

As he entered the hall, he looked at us—Anu and Raji blushing furiously, and Ammu clinging to me with her legs wrapped around my waist. He raised an eyebrow and said. "Did I come at a bad time?"

Hearing this, I responded with a smirk, "What do you think?"

Bheeshma glanced at Raji and Anu, then back at me. "I think I am," he said with a knowing grin.

Anu, still seated on the sofa, grabbed a nearby pillow and hurled it at Bheeshma angrily. He caught it and exclaimed, "What the—?"

Anu and Raji both glared at Bheeshma and shouted, "Idiot! Why did you come at a time like this?"

Bheeshma, taken aback, raised his hands defensively. "Sorry, but how was I supposed to know what you guys were doing in the hall? If you want to do this, do it inside your room, not out here."

The three of them started to argue, their voices a mix of annoyance and playful scolding. I sighed, feeling the tension ease slightly. Ammu, who was still hugging me, looked embarrassed. Seeing her discomfort, I smiled and gently kissed her neck, whispering, "Ammu, are you alright?"

She nodded, her face still flushed. "Yeah," she replied softly.

We settled back onto the sofa, and the arguing continued for a while. The playful banter between Bheeshma, Anu, and Raji filled the room with a mix of exasperation and amusement. Despite the initial tension, it was clear that their bond was strong, and the teasing was a part of their dynamic.

After some time, the atmosphere began to calm down. The argument gave way to laughter, and soon, we were all sharing stories and jokes. The earlier tension was forgotten, replaced by the warmth of our camaraderie.

Bheeshma, shaking his head, finally sat down with us. "You guys are something else," he said, laughing. "But seriously, if you're going to have moments like that, at least give me a heads up so I don't walk in on it."

Anu, still blushing, shot him a playful glare. "Next time, just knock."

Raji nodded in agreement, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Yeah, Bheeshma. We need our privacy too."

He rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Fine, fine. Message received."

As the evening wore on, the room was filled with the sounds of laughter and lighthearted conversation. The earlier awkwardness had completely dissipated.

I turned to Bheeshma and asked with a smile, "Bhaiyya, is everything going smoothly? And what about the task I gave you?"

Anu, Ammu, and Raji looked at me with puzzled expressions. "What are you talking about, Krishna?" Anu asked.

"You'll understand later," I replied, then turned back to Bheeshma. "So, is it done or not?"

Bheeshma got up without a word and went to his room. After a moment, he returned holding a file. He sat back down on the sofa and tossed the file to me with a smile. "See for yourself," he said.

I caught the file and began reading through it. It contained detailed data about illegal activities and a product called "Instant," linked to Raghavan, the CEO of Field Science. As I read, I asked Ammu, "Ammu, did you do what I told you to do?"

Ammu nodded. "Yes, Krishna. As you instructed, we didn't accept any gifts or anything for Mr. Bheeshma. Yesterday, we received a plant as a present for Mr. Bheeshma, but we sent it to the lab for testing."

I nodded in approval. "And what about our project, FarmDirect?"

"Seenu and Parimal, along with Mr. Bheeshma, are working on it," Ammu replied.

I nodded again and continued reading the file. After finishing, I put it down and smiled at Bheeshma. "This is going to help us take down Raghavan and his company. Tomorrow, I'm going to meet Paani and see what I can do."

Bheeshma nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, Anu and Raji, growing impatient, demanded, "What are you talking about, Krishna?"

I sighed, and Bheeshma spoke up, "Let me explain."

They nodded, their curiosity piqued.

RAGHAVAN'S FARMHOUSE

"3RD PERSON POV"

Bheeshma sat across from Raghavan The farmhouse, though opulent, felt suffocating, a stark contrast to the simplicity and openness of Bheeshma's world. Raghavan, with his slick hair and calculated demeanor, exuded a cold confidence. He poured tea into a delicate cup, the clinking of porcelain breaking the silence.

"Take it," Raghavan offered, extending the cup to Bheeshma.

Bheeshma shook his head, declining the gesture. A smile played on Raghavan's lips as he set the cup down. "Rather than treating you like an enemy," he began, picking up his own cup and taking a slow sip, "I thought it would be better to offer you a deal. Be my acquaintance. We could share the villages. And if you're worried about your brother, we can give him a share too. I'm not doing anything wrong, you know. I'm launching an extraordinary product."

He leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with ambition. "Think about it. If the yield is produced in fewer months, imagine how much it will help the farmers. How much it will help me. How much it will help you."

Bheeshma remained silent, his gaze steady. He had expected this kind of proposition from Raghavan. The man had a way with words, wrapping his greed in a cloak of benevolence.

Bheeshma's lips curled into a smirk. "Do you even have any values, you sinful dog?"

Raghavan's eyes flickered with anger. He gave a subtle signal to his bodyguard, who lunged toward Bheeshma. With a swift, powerful kick, Bheeshma sent the bodyguard sprawling back. "I've smacked down plenty of your men," Bheeshma said coolly. "Farming isn't like cricket, where you can filter everything down to one-day matches and T20s. If you compromise on farming, you'll drastically shorten a man's lifespan. Forget about the village; I'll make sure you don't get a single piece of land."

Bheeshma adjusted his goggles with a flourish and stood up, heading for the exit. As he walked away, Raghavan, his ego bruised, shouted, "Hey! I tricked you into coming here. Don't you think I can get hold of your company?"

Bheeshma paused, looking back with a confident smile. "Oh, really? You didn't trick me into coming here. I tricked you into thinking you wanted me here." He took a moment to let his words sink in. "Don't you get it yet? I planted that pamphlet in your newspaper."

A look of surprise flashed across Raghavan's face as Bheeshma continued, "I sent you that text on your phone. I tied that banner in front of your house. I disturbed you just enough to make you want to meet me."

Laughing, Bheeshma added, "You must have thought you planned this whole thing, but the truth is, I just blew your mind with my plan." He pointed to the tea on the table. "Stop overthinking and enjoy our brand tea. It'll sharpen your brain."

Raghavan glanced at the tea brand and realized it was Bheeshma Organics. Before he could react, Bheeshma turned on his heel and left the farmhouse, his mission accomplished.

BACK TO THE PRESENT

"KRISHNA'S POV"

"And this whole thing was planned by Krishna," Bheeshma finished, a note of pride in his voice.

Ammu, Anu, and Raji turned to me, their eyes wide with surprise. I smiled modestly. "Let's forget about that for now. Tell me, Bheeshma, did you make any progress with Chaitra?"

Their interest shifted instantly. Raji leaned in, her curiosity piqued. "Yeah, Bheeshma, I heard about her too. Tell us everything!"
