Becoming An Elite

Silax pushed open the oak door of his training chamber, anticipation thrumming in his veins, and a determined glint in his golden eyes. It was finally time to test the enchantments that had been placed on the room.

He knew he wasn't powerful enough to push it to its limit yet, but he would give it all he had.

Stepping inside, Silax's brow furrowed. The air felt... different. There was a strange stillness hung in the air, as if the very atmosphere itself held its breath. It lacked the usual welcoming hum, the subtle resistance that whispered of countless hours spent honing his craft.

He swept his gaze around the chamber, taking in the sight, and then he realized why. The mural on the wall was gone, and his usual training equipment were missing, the weighted bars and the rack of practice weapons.
