Chapter 39: Sharing Good News

"Yvonne, I'm all alone in this city, the relationships I had in the past are all but over. I can't associate with old friends and family without exposing myself. I need to create new connections. I would like you to show me the ways of vampyres and help in introducing me to other vampyres."

Yvonne's lips stretched into a smile, however her eyes gleamed cunningly.

"That wouldn't be a problem, after all the only way for we vampyres to survive is to stick together. I also wouldn't mind having someone with such level of control over their blood thirst around, but it will have to wait.

"I'll be spending the next two weeks focused on becoming an elite, so I won't have the time for much else."

Yvonne stood up and walked to the door, then she turned back to face him.

"How about we meet back here two weeks from now. If you're still alive and haven't been caught by the Crimson Hounds, then it'll show that you're good enough to join my circle."
