Chapter 9: 9 First Kills
Training continued til almost time for the pirates to gather. I had learned many new magics thanks to the slimes and had taught some to my new crew mates. I also trained Zoro in the art off cutting steel. He hasn't quite got it yet but he will soon.
I'm actually surprised at how well Luffy got along with magic considering his low INT stats. But I guess if there is one thing Luffy has in abundance is creativity. He is already coating his fist in flames like his Red Hawk move from the future. In fact he named it Red Hawk so congrats to him.
I check my loot and see various slime drop. A shit ton of regular and a bunch of elemental plus I got a big blue gem filled with mana called a slime core from the big slime. I also got an entire thing of Metal Jelly from the metal slime I killed plus an ability called metal body making it harder for me to take damage without turning myself into metal with my absorption ability.
Lastly before I concluded the training I had Luffy unlock the Aura of his crew while I did the same with mine. It was easy to come up with the chant since it came from our very souls so even Luffy could do it.
"Alright that concludes today's training. You all feel stronger now?" a round off yeas was spoken. "Good now let's go kick some pirate ass!" With that I used ID Escape to exit the dungeon
"Remember Luffy I get to fight Kuro" He nods dejectedly while grumbling "Don't worry Luffy I'll give the next two pirate captains to you" with that he cheered up greatly
We start running to the north side of the island where the pirates would be. We arrive just in time to see them trying to steal Nami's treasure.
Using reinforcement she ran to the pirate fast and smacked him with her pole "Get your hands off my treasure!" With that said the battle began. Usopp took the long range, route of, course firing off his lead stars and mana bullets. Meg took out quite a bit of pirates, without killing them, but I told her not to take them all out since the others need the experience too.
Nami was busy fighting with her staff not so scared of common pirates not with her increased stats and magic being channeled through her body making her stronger, faster, and more durable same with her aura so she got a triple increase.
Jango used hypnosis to increase his crews strength but even still it was just slightly more challenging for us. We were still beating them down. Especially since Luffy got hypnotized too.
Soon Jango had to called out the Nyan Ban brothers signaling my turn for action. As the fat one fought Luffy and the skinny one fought Zoro I quietly sneak up to the Hypnotist Jango and snap his neck. His body vanished all the loot and his skill in hypnosis was transferred to me. Of course the loot was enhanced so I don't have to use a pendulum to hypnotize people. To my surprise I got his bounty money added to my money. It was just 8 million but hey this opened new possibilities for me.
I had to increase Gamers Mind to maximum so I wouldn't break down from killing someone for the first time. I know I will have to deal with it later so instead I check my inventory. Just like I thought. Human Flesh and Human Heart was added into my inventory. It was quite disturbing but with Gamers Mind at full blast I didn't feel anything to special about it.
"What is going on here" said a voice from behind us. Turning I see Kuro
"We are kicking your crews ass." I said to him
"I see…" with that said he vanished from his speed but for me he was still too slow as he tried to get behind me I tripped his ass making him tumble all the way down to the ship embarrassing the crap out of him.
He had a look of anger on his face "Lucky shot kid. I'm afraid I will have to get serious"
He started swaying back and forth before vanishing again with twice his normal speed. Cuts began to show up on the cliff, ground, and even his own crew. Still with the stats of over 50 pirates plus my own strength and skills I could follow him. When he approached near me I round house kicked him into the cliffs creating a crater where he landed
"Tsk you are weak. No wonder you gave up being a pirate. It obviously was just too much for you to handle." I said as I dash over and punch him in the stomach making him cough out blood. "Pathetic." He trees to swat me with his claw sword thingies but they just clang against my body "I expected more"
I would kill him right now but the crew is watching and I don't think all of them can handle seeing a murder. Everyone was busy when I killed Jango so I think no one saw it. I drag him to the ship and toss him onto it. "Start loading the rest of the pirates away on the ship" I said to the crews who nod and start loading them up.
"Alright Kaya you can come out of hiding now" she comes out from behind the trees followed by the three boys from earlier. Tears were flowing from her eyes. I don't know why she is crying but Usopp went to comfort her as she sobbed against him. Sadly or gladly I can't hear them.
Once done we all head back to town but Zoro and Luffy were glancing at me from time to time and so was Meg. Shit. We stayed at the mansion for a day.
That night.
I used my Golden tiger claws to tear a rip in space and appear on the deck of the Black Cats ship. I then began to massacre them all using Yamato so I can build up the template card. I completed the dragonborn one already my soul was transformed into a dragons and I could feel a link to a very powerful force which I believe to be Akatosh.
Using the claws again I head back to my individual room and I head to the bathroom where I deactivated gamers mind and proceeded to throw up in the toilet and start sobbing at the lives I had taken. I know they were evil scum pirates but still I feel guilty and noxious.
I was so busy sobbing I didn't hear someone coming into my room or rather three someones. I didn't notice until I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. Looking to my holder I see it is Meg with Zoro and Luffy in the doorway
"W-what are you all doing here"
"We didn't find the hypnotist when loading the ship." said Zoro
"I-is that so"
"Did you do something"
I look down at the floor "I killed him"
"Thought so but what happened to the body?"
"It disappeared when I killed him. Like the slimes in the dungeon" Zoro nods and Luffy stares at me. I don't know what he is thinking but it makes me feel guiltier
Luffy walked over and placed a hand on my shoulder "It's ok big brother. Everything is going to be ok."
"Luffy… I also killed the rest of those pirates tonight. I'm a monster"
"No you're not!" shouted both Meg and Luffy
"You are the best big brother I could ask for. I don't care if you killed them as I know you had to have a reason. Tell me your reason"
"I knew.. I knew if I let them go they would terrorize and kill more people. I didn't want that so I took care of it."
"See you had a reason. Remember you once told me you would make the hard decisions so I could live freely" Did I say that? Looking back on this lives memories it seemed I did say that to Luffy when we were talking about being Pirates
"I did say that…"
"And that's what you did. You did what you thought was right so don't cry anymore big brother.
I hug him and Meg. Perhaps I don't have to feel guilty anymore. Especially when I have people who care about me.
