Chapter 104: Hot and cold behavior

"Thank you so much," Arrow looked at his phone's screen with a frown on his face.

"Why are you thanking me? I still haven't finish the work. Keep the formalities aside for now." He texted back.

"Not because of that. You were there to save her, right?"

For the first time, Arrow didn't know what to say. His lips were sealed. He wanted to deny this but Adam's text gave away his confidence. He knew that Arrow was there.

"At least, I choose the right guy to protect her. Despite hiding myself so well, he knew that someone was there and he also knew that it's me," he thought with a smile.

"Yes and?"

"Why did you want to save her?"

And Arrow didn't have a answer to this question. He doesn't know why he wants to save her either. Her existence was annoying the hell out of him.

He knew that he shouldn't get too involved with her since she was just a source of finding Nivea.

"Is she really?" His subconscious mind mocked him.
