Chapter 38: The Banquet (1)

"Irene, don't tell me you're going to the banquet, are you?" Tae Yeon said, crossing her arms over her chest with a slight frown on her lips.

"Of course, I have to go. I want to see the love of my life. I'll make him mine today, just wait and see," Irene said, with a proud smirk forming on her lips.

"Whatever," Tae Yeon said, rolling her eyes.

"Selena will be here soon; why don't you go and get ready, or are you not coming along?" Irene said, looking so happy just because of the party tonight.

"Do you realize whose party it is tonight? It's Rose's party. That bitch, whom you detest so much," Tae Yeon said with a frown.

"I don't mind. After all, she's a sister to the love of my life. I can start to make friends with her if she gives me a chance," Irene chuckled, causing Tae Yeon to sneer and walk out of the living room angrily to her room.

Irene's phone rang as she picked up the call.
