Chapter 8: Don’t You Dare Go After Her

Some minutes later…..

The car pulled over, and the car door was opened for them to step out. Gu Won stepped out first, and Rosalina followed. They walked into the company, and many eyes couldn't stop staring, surprised to see a woman in their boss's car.

It was the first time they saw a woman in their boss's car, but they couldn't gossip about it with their cold boss around. They all bowed as he passed by, and all eyes were on Rosalina, admiring her beauty and graceful figure.

Upon reaching the floor, Rosalina was introduced to the managing director, Lee Ji Ho, who was lost staring at her. He shook hands with her and wouldn't release her hand.

Rosalina smiled awkwardly, trying to pull her hand away. Lee Gu Won felt angry seeing managing director Ji Ho staring at Rosalina and holding her hand. He threw a cold glare at him and angrily separated their hands, making Ji Ho frown. Rosalina was grateful for his intervention as she felt uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Kim Yoona, I was just so amazed to meet a goddess in our company today, and the great part is she's working with us. We're lucky," Ji Ho joked, and Rosalina chuckled lightly at his joke.

"It's okay, and thank you for the compliment," Rosalina said softly.

"I heard you're a model from California. I'm sure your English must be perfect," Ji Ho chatted with her, making Rosalina feel comfortable and allowing her to laugh.

"This is work, Director Ji Ho," Lee Gu Won said coldly, making Ji Ho sneer, and they proceeded with the important details of the contract and the shoot.

The shoot went smoothly, with everyone in the studio praising Rosalina for being perfect and professional, even though she wasn't very popular yet.

"Nice work today," the studio staff greeted Rosalina, and she responded politely.

After the shoot, Rosalina was invited to CEO Lee Gu Won's office.

"Nice work today, and thank you for your time," Gu Won said softly, shaking hands with her.

"Thank you, CEO Gu Won," Rosalina said politely, with a cute smile.

"We have another shoot tomorrow, so please be here at 10 am," Gu Won informed her, as per the terms of the contract for her to be a contracted ambassador for some of their brands.

"Sure, thank you," Rosalina said, bowing slightly before leaving his office.

She walked out to meet her assistant, who was waiting for her. While on her way, she bumped into Director Ji Ho in the elevator as he was coming out to see Gu Won in his office, she was going to take the elevator to the floor to meet her PA to leave and drive back home.

"Sorry, are you okay, Ms. Yoona?" Ji Ho asked as they bumped into each other.

"Yes, I'm fine, thank you," Yoona said with a smile, bowing slightly, while Ji Ho returned the smile and watched her enter the elevator until it closed.

He then smiled and walked into Gu Won's office.

"Hey, cousin," Ji Ho said as he sat down.

"What are you doing here?" Lee Gu Won asked, knowing he was going to say something stupid.

"Well, she's good. Though she's not popular yet, I hope this collaboration brings huge profit," Ji Ho said softly and continued, "I must say you have a good eye. I don't know why, but I feel good staring at her. Maybe I'll pursue her."

Ji Ho caught Gu Won's attention by saying he wanted to go after her.

"Don't you dare go after her," Lee Gu Won said angrily.

"Why? Do you like her?" Ji Ho said, sneering.

"Just don't you dare," Gu Won said firmly and left the office.

"Well, I think I like girls like her, so I'll try my luck," Ji Ho said, but Gu Won did not respond as he left the office.

"Mom, you can't believe what I saw today," Tae Yeon said walking to her mom in the sitting room.

"What're you talking about?" Mrs. Yeri said while operating her phone.

"Do you believe Rose is now a model and getting popular too?" Tae Yeon said making her mom stop what she was doing.

"You mean Rosalina?" Tae Yeon mom's asked to be sure of what she heard.

"Yes, Mom. You know I told you I discovered she left Korea for California right?" Tae Yeon said while her mom nodded paying attention to her.

"She's back in Korea as a model and I was surprised when I saw that over the internet how she was now popular in California as they gave her a title name as an Asian goddess." Tae Yeon said with jealousy and sadness in her voice.

"But why telling me all this?" Mrs. Yeri asked looking at her daughter's jealous face.

"You know I've been into modeling too since two years ago but I'm not even popular let to talk of being a hot topic on the Internet like her who just started months ago." Tae Yeon said sadly.

"I hate to see her better than me. But there's something I'm still not sure about and doubt about hearing that she is a mother of twins now." Tae Yeon said looking confused while Mrs Yer was shocked to hear that.

"What do you mean? Like, how did you find out all that?" Mrs. Yeri asked a bit confused.

"You know her friend Suzy was wedded two months ago? I attended with my friend, whose dad was a friend of Suzy's dad. I wasn't interested in attending the wedding party but I went there to see if Rose was going to attend since she flew to California after finding out she's a bastard of this family. I'm very sure I saw her with two kids that look alike a girl and a boy. The little girl looked so much like Rose and I also heard the girl called her mommy." Tae Yeon said to her mom.

"That must be true, do you remember the day she came home looking rough and that's the day she left the house with her bag? I think that day, she spent her night with a man that resulted in her pregnancy, and that must also be the reason why she left the country for California." Mrs Yeri guessed what the situation looked like.

"Mmm, that sounds like that was what happened. Does she think she's smart by coming back to Korea? I'll ruin her if she thinks she can live better than me." Tae Yeon said with a smirk on her lips.

"Use your senses to whatever you're planning, that's my advice." Mrs. Yeri said that she was also thinking about the matter.

"How could she live better than my daughter? No, that will never happen." Mrs Yeri thought in her mind.

"Don't worry Mom, I'll be careful. I'm moving to Seoul Mom." Tae Yeon said thoughtfully.

"Oh, she's living in Seoul?" Mrs. Yeri asked as she referring the word "her" as Rosalina.

"Yes Mom, I also have a plan to sign into a modeling agency in Seoul. Irene is my friend and she's the popular model trending all over the internet, I'm sure she can link me to a good company to get signed with." Tae Yeon said.

"You should know I have your back and don't worry about Rosalina, she's just a piece of cake. She's just a bastard, even her grandparents didn't accept her just like they abandoned her mother. She doesn't even know who her father is." Mrs Yeri said with a mocking tone to cheer her daughter.

"That's why I love you mom." Tae Yeon said pecking her mom's cheek.

"If you want me to still be your good mother, figure out how you make HEO U-Jin yours, you have to get him to be yours to inherit your father's company and the HEO family is one of the wealthy families in Jeju, it would be so good to have everything and leave a better life. If this happens, Rosalina is nothing near you because she's alone with no family or father, and now, she's a mother with two kids without their father. How miserable and shameful her life would be when you have yourself living a good life with the heir of one of the richest in Jeju." Mrs Yeri told her daughter to continue chasing U-Jin whom Rosalina had refused to marry because she only takes him as just a friend.

U-Jin is the heir of HEO ,wealth and a young handsome and smart man who also has his company he was managing and rich on his own and with his father's wealth as the heir was every lady's dream to be with a man like him, in Je.

Tae Yeon has always crush on him since when she was little but U-Jin likes Rosalina and is very close to her.

He never pays attention to Tae Yeon but takes her as just a little sister of his friend.

U-Jin was also the main reason why Tae Yeon hated Rosalina and was always jealous when U-Jin and Rosalina were together.

But since when Rosalina left the mansion and was not in the city she had tried to get close to U-Jin as a friend and spend some time together.

Tae Yeon smiled at her mom;

"Don't worry Mom I have succeeded in getting close to U-Jin to be his friend so the best I tried to succeed is also how I'll try to make him mine forever." Tae Yeon said smiling just then U-Jin walked in and walked to them.

He greeted them with a smile and sat on the couch;

"Wow, why do we see you today Oppa." Tae Yeon said to him and called him Oppa like she used to call him.

"I came around to say hi but I also wanted to ask something from you Tae Yeon." U Jin said softly.

"Oh, what's that?" Tae Yeon asked with a smile.
