"Did we really need to let him die?", Ellen asked, watching as Milo remained still as Ray lifted Rekior into a soft carry and began to walk back towards the lightning cheetah village. 

"We did", Milo responded coldly. 

"He was your teacher you know, don't you think not feeling anything at all towards him is a sign of disrespect?", Ellen said, a hint of bite and disbelief evident in her tone. 

"…", Milo remained silent. 

'What is this feeling?'. 

Milo lifted his hand towards his stomach and clenched his shirt. This strange feeling was something he hadn't felt before, it was like the put of his stomach had dropped and his mind was under an intense amount of pressure. A distinct feeling of his eyes being stung accompanied this, his heart rate began to rise as his breath began to shorten.
