Chapter 145: Primitive Battle

With the sun beginning to set, blanketing the world in a familiar warm light, Milo found himself perched atop the small hill overlooking the battlefield once again. Rain started to gently pour, washing all of the blood, weapons and armour down the slope. 

Milo crouched down, placing his left fingertips on the ground he allowed his own mana to flare. He scanned around him, noticing a familiar mana signature racing towards him. 

Milo stood and tucked his hands into his khaki green trousers, "It's you, Kwaki. Still following me?". 

Kwaki appeared behind Milo, his usual attire had been abandoned and all he sported right now was a white tank top and black shorts, "I came to see what you were up to, Milo". 

Kwaki stepped up alongside Milo, "I have this strange feeling about you. There is much more depth to you and that girl than meets the eye".
