Chapter 91: Dark and Milo

After saying their not so heartfelt goodbyes, Milo, Marcos and Dark made their way back towards the entrance of the dungeon. It turned out that in the end, there was no boss for them to conquer as Azz had already frozen the boss solid and was keeping him alive, barely. 

He did this to ensure that the dungeon that he now called home still supplied him enough mana to maintain his spatial isolation technique. 

Milo stepped outside and the warmth of the sunlight blanketed him. This wasn't the artificial stuff that he had grown used to, it was he real deal and he soaked in every single second of it. 

"He was something", Marcos said to no one in particular. 

Dark looked at the sun, squinting his eyes he responded, "Well he was always that way. Took interest in what he liked and discarded what he didn't like. Clearly, he likes the little genius though".
