Chapter 85: An Enigma

"Crap!", Milo grunted, taking the demon king's blow right across his cheek. He was sent hurtling across the ground as the snow became trapped beneath his clothes. 

It was suitable but, the demon king was a monster that Milo couldn't begin to imagine fighting seriously. He had thought he reached a point where the demon king would actually begin to try, but feeling the blows now … 

'They are getting heavier'. 

Each time an hour or so passed, Milo's arms became more damaged as the demon king increased the weight behind his punches. His mana level was staying the same, he was just using his raw physical strength and was more than capable of pushing Milo back with that alone.

Was he even using mana anymore? He didn't have the ice gauntlets. Milo focused his eyes and watched the flow of mana. His frustration boiled and his stomach dropped as his eyes settled on the demon king's core.
