Chapter 84: Progress Finally

Milo lay on his back, his arm pressed firmly across his eyes. His chest beat with such fierceness his breathe began to get caught in his throat. He swallowed and sat up, red rings around his eyes surrounded by black as he looked up lazily towards the golem.

The demon king remained perched on its shoulder, letting out a cocky yawn as his eyes locked with Milo's. Milo felt his gaze taunt him somehow. The demon king wiggled his eyebrows as Milo dashed forward, for the first time the golem failed to track his movements. 

"GOOD!", the demon king barked from above. 

It had been a week since Milo began his training and his mana sharpness had come on leaps and bounds. What was the main cause of this was simple, he was gaining battle experience in using mana. He had assumed that thanks to his past life, he already possessed the necessary battle experience. However, as much as that was correct it was also incorrect.
