Chapter 47: Sacrifice

Milo lay on his bed with his hands cupped behind his head, staring aimlessly at the ceiling as the soft sound of rain pattering on the window echoed throughout his room. He was in the process of thinking of a way where he could finally get back on his feet. 

It didn't matter what he thought of, nothing came to his mind. To begin with, he had done something that for some reason he glossed over as soon as he was injured, he put his leg in a splint. 

He requested 4 long pieces of wood as well as some smaller ones and constructed the device to keep the bones in place. Thanks to this medieval world, the idea of the traditional healing methods he once utilized in the courts was a faraway dream. The idea of casts for broken bones didn't even exist in this world.
