Chapter 178: Chapter 181: Who Says I Can't Cast the Killing Curse?

The Room of Requirement.

This is one of the most secretive rooms within the Hogwarts castle.

This room is enchanted, so that can transfigure any reasonable request made within its limits.

After leading them inside, Professor Quirrell snapped his fingers, transforming the entire room into an open space. Clearly, he knew the room's secrets.

"Before training, I need to teach you some... spells to deal with the Dark Lord..."

Professor Quirrell looked at Wilson and Harry, who had become visibly excited, and continued nervously, "If you can master them... the next time you encounter the Dark Lord Peter, you will have... the power to resist."

"Yes, Professor!"

Harry's excitement grew even more!

Wilson's expression became subtly uneasy. Why did he have a bad feeling about this? Was Quirrell going to teach them the Unforgivable Curses?

"Don't... tell... anyone else..."

Professor Quirrell's face became unusually serious as he stared at Harry, whispering, "This isn't something... people your age... should be learning..."

"..."

As a confidant of both Professor Quirrell and Voldemort, Wilson naturally had no opinion to offer. He simply nodded slowly.

"Can we learn it?"

Harry nodded quickly, his excitement mounting. "Professor, I won't tell anyone. Please teach us!"

Since entering the magical world, Harry had gained respect from many and animosity from some terrifying figures. He knew that at least two Dark Lords were his enemies.

The last time he encountered Dark Lord Peter, Harry had to rely on other's protection. Now, he was at Hogwarts to learn more powerful magic, wasn't he?

Wilson couldn't help but glance at Harry.

To be honest.

Wilson felt Harry wasn't likely to keep this secret!

However, Professor Quirrell believed him. With a strange smile, he said softly, "Today, I'll teach you the first spell, the Killing Curse. This is a spell capable of harming any powerful wizard..."

"..."

Wilson couldn't help but cough lightly.

What a joke!

Professor Quirrell and Voldemort were actually going to teach Harry an Unforgivable Curse, and the first one was the deadliest Killing Curse...

However...

They were serious.

Professor Quirrell was meticulous in teaching Harry, carefully explaining the power of the spell: "This is the most lethal magic. With just one strike, you can kill your enemy outright. Even the Dark Lord cannot ignore its power..."

"Yes!"

Harry, knowing nothing about it, voiced his concern, "But isn't it too dangerous to use this magic during training?"

"Yes... it's very dangerous..."

Professor Quirrell, nervously wiping sweat from his forehead, continued, "But... your enemy is the Dark Lord... without the resolve to kill him... you can never defeat him..."

"..."

Harry's face slowly became serious.

The boy's expression turned solemn as he firmly nodded to Professor Quirrell, indicating his determination.

"..."

This kid had fallen for it!

Wilson felt increasingly uneasy!

He had always thought Voldemort and Professor Quirrell were fools, but now it seemed he was wrong. Not everyone remains a fool forever...

Professor Quirrell and Voldemort had sinister intentions...

They were teaching Harry the Unforgivable Curses, powerful magic, indeed...

But...

They hadn't considered that Harry, unaware of the serious implications, might use the Killing Curse during a conflict with a classmate and end up in Azkaban!

Wilson watched Professor Quirrell teach Harry with a gentle demeanor.

Quirrell's gaze resembled that of a predator eyeing prey caught in a trap. Wilson was all too familiar with that look...

Yes.

Perhaps they intended to frame the kid...

If Harry used the Killing Curse in front of everyone, even as the Boy Who Lived, even Dumbledore couldn't protect him; he would be sent to Azkaban...

Wilson watched the lesson with a peculiar expression. Perhaps due to Voldemort's soul fragment within Harry, he mastered the Killing Curse swiftly, even outperforming Wilson!

After two hours, the lesson ended.

Harry was almost able to cast the spell.

Professor Quirrell brought out two cages, each containing a rat, and placed them in front of Wilson and Harry, asking them to test their magic on the rats.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Harry murmured, raising his wand toward the rat!

A green light shot from the tip of his wand, hitting the rat inside the cage. The rat's body stiffened immediately and fell lifelessly to the ground...

Clap, clap, clap...

Professor Quirrell clapped his hands, smiling as he praised, "You just learned... the Killing Curse... and you can kill a rat... that's impressive..."

"What about Wilson?"

Harry, satisfied, put away his wand, unaware of the implications of using the Killing Curse, and happily asked, "Hasn't Wilson learned it yet?"

"...Hmm."

Wilson's expression seemed somewhat displeased. He raised his wand, pointed it at the other rat, and a green light flickered on the wand's tip before dissipating...

Obviously.

This attempt failed.

Wilson frowned and calmly put away his wand. "Perhaps I need to study it in my own way for a while... this spell is quite difficult..."

"It didn't seem that hard?"

Harry's smile was almost uncontrollable.

Although the spell was indeed difficult, he had managed to cast it within two hours, while Wilson still hadn't mastered it...

"It's alright... it's not... a simple spell..."

Professor Quirrell didn't mind, as if everything was as expected, and stuttered with a smile, "Alright, for today... we'll stop here... until you truly grasp... the power of the Killing Curse... don't use this spell lightly..."

"..."

Wilson's eye twitched slightly.

Professor Quirrell seemed very satisfied with the first day's progress, tidying up the room and letting Wilson take Harry away.

As they left.

Professor Quirrell carefully removed his turban, and Voldemort's cold voice echoed in the Room of Requirement: "I haven't been here for a long time..."

"Yes... Master."

Professor Quirrell nervously asked, "Teaching... teaching them... the Unforgivable Curses... is it really... okay? What about Dumbledore..."

"Is what we taught... the wrong magic?"

Voldemort interrupted sharply, continuing in his icy tone, "He will learn the Unforgivable Curses sooner or later..."

Voldemort had his own perspective on this matter: "If he encounters Peter Pettigrew in the future, he will certainly give that rat a surprise..."

"What if... what if he gets caught?"

Professor Quirrell quickly posed another question.

"It doesn't matter..."

Voldemort's voice remained cold, "Once I am resurrected, none of it will matter... Azkaban will be a safe place for him!"

Yes.

Peter Pettigrew wouldn't dare to go to Azkaban himself.

This was a conclusion Wilson had analyzed in Defense Against the Dark Arts class, a conclusion that Voldemort evidently agreed with. Voldemort didn't consider whether Harry could survive in Azkaban...

A mere Azkaban was nothing special. Even Voldemort thought the prison was practically defenseless...

"And about Wilson..."

Voldemort recalled his recruit and snorted, "I thought he had high talent, but he's not even as good as a child..."

Then, Voldemort explained coldly, "But it's understandable... that child has my soul..."

As long as he had Voldemort's soul fragment...

Harry would learn magic quickly!

On the other side.

Wilson and Harry left the Room of Requirement.

Harry seemed still immersed in his excitement about learning a new spell, often touching his wand. He looked very happy, completely unaware he had fallen into a trap.

"Don't use that spell."

Wilson frowned and patted his head, explaining, "It's one of the legendary three Unforgivable Curses, Harry. If you're caught using it, the Aurors from the Ministry of Magic will send you to Azkaban..."

As he spoke, Wilson gave an example: "If you want to know what Azkaban is like, you can write to Mr. Black; he was once a prisoner there..."

"I'll remember."

Harry's face still showed his excitement. He waved and ran towards the Gryffindor dormitory: "I'll go rest now. Wilson, keep practicing. Good night..."

"..."

Wilson smiled and waved back.

After Harry left, Wilson turned towards Dumbledore's office, only to be told by the stone statue guarding the entrance that Dumbledore wasn't at school tonight...

At this time...

Dumbledore wasn't around?

Wilson could only leave reluctantly.

His mood wasn't great today; he was planning to seek advice!

But the stone statue, knowing Wilson's importance to Dumbledore, shared that Dumbledore had gone to the Durmstrang Institute in Europe and would return by morning.

"..."

Wilson felt uneasy again.

Had Grindelwald returned from the Albanian forest?

Apparently.

Dumbledore had gone.

So Grindelwald must be back.

And after returning, Grindelwald contacted his old lover Dumbledore first, not him, which seemed overly biased for a partner!

Today...

Had truly been frustrating!

When Wilson returned to the Hufflepuff dormitory, his body discreetly left Hogwarts, teleporting directly to Durmstrang.

It was strange.

The Durmstrang headmaster's office was empty.

No one knew where Grindelwald was or where Dumbledore had gone. Where could these two old men be in the middle of the night...

Wilson's figure silently entered the Headmaster's office, intending to leave a note for Grindelwald to inquire about his matter. However, he saw a pair of eerie vertical pupils inside...

Well, well...

Grindelwald had actually caught the thing he wanted?

Inside the Headmaster's office at Durmstrang.

Just as Wilson was looking at those vertical pupils, a dark shadow suddenly sprang from the ground. With a pair of glowing vertical pupils, it opened its mouth to reveal sharp snake fangs and lunged at his head!

Clearly...

This strike was meant to kill him directly!

Wilson's expression did not change in the slightest. He reached out his hand into its mouth, and a flash of green light appeared at his fingertips!

"Avada Kedavra!"

The green light fell into its throat, instantly sweeping over the attacker's body!

The green light that entered its throat made the attacker's body stiffen immediately. Even though its scales could resist magical power, it couldn't stop Wilson's Killing Curse from hitting its insides!
