As Lyra helped her mother in the kitchen, she couldn't help but reflect on her restless thoughts.

Ever since Wendy told her about Peter still being alive, Lyra began to have crazy ideas.

She was not sure why she was being restless over a boy that she just met three days ago but she felt that it was what she had to do.

She just had to be sure that he was alive.

"Mom; what would you do if you feel so strongly about helping someone but everyone else thinks that such a person is beyond saving?"

Ruby Dreyson rested her gaze on her daughter as she wondered where such a question was coming from.

But at that moment, her eyes widened as a thought came to her mind, which made her drop the cooking spoon in her hand.

Staring at Lyra squarely, she asked;

"And does this person somehow resemble a young mage whom you met three days ago?"

On hearing that question, Lyra stared at her mother in surprise.
