Chapter 2: The powerful human race soldiers.

You Qian observes, and sees that the options module in his field of view contains entries such as the leader's log, which records his previous actions, while the personal warehouse, friends list, and trading area are all empty. Upon opening the world chat, he finds it bustling with activity.

"You guys... the common skill for troops has to be taught by the leader? That's absurd!"

"I'm a giant bird, and I haven't even adapted to walking yet, let alone having hands, but I have to teach a bunch of clueless idiots how to chop wood and mine?"

"I'm an orc; I can adapt somewhat, but my talent for military skills is only 40. After being taught for a long time, I still haven't learned."

"My troop talent is 50. After being taught for a while, I've reached an intermediate level of skill and can make medium-grade tools, finally able to gather resources."

"After learning the skills, they need to craft their own tools themselves. The durability of the tools depends on their skill proficiency."

"The person upstairs is right. Those with low talents either can't learn the skills or learn poorly, and they can't make good tools, so resource gathering efficiency suffers."

"If only our race were human, at least we could learn common skills quickly."

"My elf is a humanoid race, skilled in chopping wood, with decent talent, but poor at mining and some other skills."

"Sigh, everyone seems to be reborn into foreign races. Looking at these dark beast claws, I miss my delicate and fair fingers."

"I miss them too!"

"Nostalgia +1"

Everyone is complaining about how difficult it is to teach troops common skills and how slow they learn.

Apparently, the other races have low talent levels, with the highest being someone claiming to have an angelic race with a talent of 60, while humans have full talent points.

But do they also need to craft their own tools?

You Qian glances over to two farmers who are indeed making tools quite skillfully.

Suddenly, new messages refresh, capturing You Qian's attention.

"Be careful when venturing outside, my golem was happily hunting rabbits when suddenly two bears appeared out of nowhere and tore it apart, it's terrifying!"

"Certainly, the land outside is dangerous. My three-headed snake got petrified by a Medusa!"

"Darn! There's a Behemoth blocking the entrance!"

"Serious warning: Avoid the water source, there are many powerful foreign beasts there!"

"The land around us may not be strong, but occasionally one or two powerful foreign beasts pop up, it's annoying!"

"It's unfair! How can we develop peacefully under these circumstances?"

It seems that leaders face various interferences and obstacles in development, seemingly limited to passive defense.

"But wealth comes from risk-taking, and if you don't strive, you'll die quickly!"

With wild beasts roaring around, occasionally more fearsome roars can be heard.

"You guys have nine days left, you must improve quickly, otherwise it will become increasingly dangerous!"

From a broader perspective, leaders' enemies aren't just each other, but also powerful foreign beasts, local forces, possibly even unknown entities.

Fate and favor come from heaven, but without effort, heaven won't protect oneself!

A fierce roar wakes You Qian up.

He turns to see six wolf-like foreign beasts hovering about 50 meters away from the protective barrier formed by the blessing of the heavens, staring intently at him with cold eyes.

"Magic wolves, 1-star foreign beasts!"

Recognizing them through the "Insight" skill, You Qian feels relieved seeing the two 3-star farmers.

Upon kneeling before You Qian, the farmers declare, "Please give us your command, O Emperor, to exterminate the ghosts and monsters of this world. Even if we fall in battle, our souls shall return to the altar!"

Surprised, You Qian asks, "Are you immortal?"

They reply, "Emperor eternal, our spirits shall never perish!"

So powerful?

You Qian begins to inquire further.

Each human born from the altar leaves behind a fragment of their soul.

And the altar is closely connected to You Qian, the "Emperor."

To revive fallen soldiers is simple.

As long as You Qian uses livestock to worship the heavens and recites the "summoning incantation," they can be brought back.

This form is unique to the human race, not available to others.

Naming them Yan Chang and Yan Pu, You Qian deems it fitting since they can become half-gods, hence the surname 'Yan.'

"Young masters, please proceed. Be cautious."

Following his command, Yan Chang and Yan Pu charge towards the magic wolves using homemade hoes.

Initially watching from afar, You Qian decides to follow, observing from behind the protection barrier.

As soon as the farmers exit the barrier, six magic wolves pounce.

"Reckless beasts, dare to cause trouble beneath the Emperor's gaze!"

Yan Chang swings his hoe, striking with a powerful wind, killing one instantly.

Yan Pu kicks another to death.

Killing the magic wolves in mere seconds brings rewards: spirit energy and magic crystals.

But then, a larger magic wolf appears, fleeing upon witnessing the scene.

"Thinking of escaping?"

Yan Chang throws his hoe, defying physics, circling in mid-air and striking down the retreating wolf.

Killing the 2-star magic wolf earns more spirit energy, magic crystals, and two skill books for intermediate-level logging.

Seeing this, You Qian muses, "Too brutal~"

Other leaders complain about the difficulty of fighting basic foreign beasts, but stronger ones often appear unexpectedly, akin to bosses.

Yet, Yan Chang effortlessly eliminates this boss.

"You're truly blessed by heaven, acknowledged by the world, capable of subduing all races."

Exceptionally fortunate and incredibly strong!

Killing foreign beasts allows soldiers to gain upgradeable spirit energy, and as a leader, You Qian benefits too.

After the fight, the two farmers bring back the magic wolf bodies and hand over the magic crystals and skill books to You Qian.

Examining the crystals, they seem ordinary, save for their luster.

Looking at the two logging skill books, You Qian thinks, "Using these allows any soldier to immediately learn the skill and reach an intermediate level of proficiency, regardless of talent."
