His words could give others a headache, as the way he spoke was strange, but it conveyed his message clearly.

 Gresvin could understand what he meant. Essentially, more people meant better rewards and possible profits. But just like a coin has two sides, the negative part was that there were more people to feed, house, and protect, but for the moment, that was fine. There were enough of these things to not allow the negative things to have too much of an impact.
