Chapter 5: 5
Hey there so now i am a second-year student with oikawa and iwaizumi being third-year and the third years graduated.
And our main protagonist of the series have entered this year yeah Kageyama he still acts like a child and man whenever he plays volleyball i don't know why but i can see dude is addicted to volleyball.
Well today we are testing the first year by playing a 3v3 game with them,
Team A
me
Kageyama
Kunimi
Team B
Oikawa
Kindaichi
Hashikami
MATCH START:
Serving from their team first is Hashikami who did a basic serve and kunimi bumped the ball very cleanly and kageyama got under the ball and set a ball to me.
'Damn i have to say he is better than me when i first entered club but for now i can say that i am better'I thought and i jumped and smashed the ball perfectly above Kindaichi block.

This time kageyama took the ball and served the ball just at the line towards Hashikami

As Hashikami somewhat struggled to recieve the ball he bumped the ball up but it was off.
But Oikawa somewhat predicted that and was ready for it and just as the ball is coming to our court Oikawa smashed the ball
Just as the ball was about to come contact to the floor i saved the ball as i dived.

Kageyama also feeling the excitement got under and set the ball to Kunimi,
Well kunimi with his lazy face did his approach and just as he was about to smash he touched ball lightly but just as he was about to touch Oikawa saved the ball by getting his hand on the ball and saved it at the last moment.
Just as Hashikami was about to set Oikawa shouted for a high toss Hashikami nodded and set a high toss for oikawa who got up and did his approach and at same time i also got in position and centered myself to his dominant hand just as he was about to spike i could see that he was going to hit towards right but at the same time i also moved my hands towards right and blocked him.

"Iwazumi will you please" "Yes coach"
Iwaizumi got onto the court and punched Oikawa and me
"All right this is a match to evaluate your juniors so don't start competing here all right."
"Got it?" Iwaizumi-san said releasing his killing intent.
"Yes sir" We both said at the same time.
with that we started the match here and we participated just a little like soft-blocking or saving the ball if it came to us.
At the end of day coach summoned both me and Oikawa
"So what do you think of the freshman i want only honest review" Asked Coach
"Well they are all right" "Yeah they are not better than me"
"Huh you two why do you always make me do this IWAIZUMI I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE HERE"
"Yes coach "Said Iwaizumi

"First of all let's talk about kunimi well his basic are good" Oikawa
"He is the most coolheaded in the freshman" Rise
"Yup his gameplay sense is the highest out of the freshman"Oikawa
"But he is lazy and does not like to move much"Rise
"Yeah but he does love playing but it's just his style is well different"Oikawa
"Well that's what i and Rise-kun think of him now let's talk about Kindaichi" Said Oikawa
"Well he has passion for volleyball exact opposite of kunimi"
"But he is too simple-mind in game sense"
"Well but he can make it up for it using his athletic abilities"
That's how we describe every player to coach and finally kageyama
"Well what can i say about him he is like a diamond in it's rusting form all it's need is polishing."
"Well i don't like to admit but yeah he is what Rise-kun says."Said Oikawa
"Don't worry you are still the best setter there is in japan"I said
"Rise-kun marry me plz."Said Oikawa tears threatening to falling from his eyes
"Aah move away from you are soo gay oikawa.Coach can we go now i have to do 100 serves."I said
"Yeah get out of here."
When both of them left
"Hah i don't know even if that kid Kageyama will even be able to keep up with these two freaks.One trains like it's his last day on earth and another keep getting influenced by him so he trains more."
Like that 3 months passed
Our training went same i am now as Middle blocker so i usually practice blocking more and secondly i practice a lot of quick attacks with Oikawa as well as practice against 3 blockers and lastly my serve well my jump serve is still not the best i can only serve a normal jump serve but my float serve has gotten more faster and my aim has gotten way more better.
well let's see if my training has paid off in this coming tournament i am surely going to crush you this time Shiratorizawa.

Starting from today the tournaments are going to start and we are not going to face any powerhouse like Chidoriyama and Shiratorizawa since they are in separate block hah man i really wanted to face with Chidoriyama Junior school but it's their bad luck i guess.
But we are really having smooth journey till semi-finals
So today in first round we are facing Oujitsu Junior High.Well i usually don't listen to anything if it isn't related to Ushijima or Nishinoya so i don't a thing about them.
As we enter the court i see the opponent we are facing they are doing their warm-ups

With referee whistle the match started and the opponent did a basic serve and Keigo received it perfectly and as oikawa got under the ball i also started my approach he gave me a quick set right in the middle and i smashed the ball with no blockers in my sight

With that Oikawa released one bazooka after another it was not until his 8 serve that they somehow luckily manage to got the serve but still our Captain need to show off more
Me and iwaizumi-san blocked the spiker and the ball fell in their own court.
