Chapter 25: 25 The Red Dragon Emperor
After Otto placed the devil that hit him into an eternal sleep, a day passed as he went to find Issei and Irina again in the park to claim the free Longinus power. Now he could also use the Sacred Gear Canceller after Brynhildr absorbed it.
"Why are you interested in those kids?" Brynhildr asked as she thought that Otto now wanted friends around his age.
"The boy has a dormant Longinus in him." He stated, surprising her as to how he knew.
"Is this why you tested the ability on the pure-blooded devil last night?" To which he nodded.
Otto only needs to stab Issei's hand with Brynhildr's spear to absorb the soul within the Boosted Gear.
"Then how will you do it?"
"Just ask him to watch a cool thing happen. And stab his hand." He said bluntly, as he didn't care that Issei would hate him in the future since the boy was already hopeless. Already ogling at the women with big breasts passing by at the park.
"That's it?" Brynhildr sounded confused.
"Yup." He replied as his phone vibrated.
"???"
[Notification 1]
'How did someone manage to get my email?' He wondered as someone emailed him out of nowhere with an unknown sender.
[Happy 11th Birthday, Otto-kun!
I bet you even forgot your birthday right?

"When did she get my email? And why does she know I'm in Kuoh?"
"It's probably the time when were knocked out by Inshun. I saw her rummaging through your things." Brynhildr said.
"You can see now?"
"Ummm sort of. I can visually see a person's appearance like a container filled with the amount of magic they possess. The only downside is that I can't sense people without an ounce of magic.
And of course, I can see you more clearly than that woman, since we're connected~." She giggled.
"I have this question I wanted to ask. But can you read my mind?" This question was eating him the moment they made contact since he didn't want her to know what was on his mind.
"Obviously not. But I can feel what you're feeling. Even if that is so... I still couldn't figure out what you're feeling, since most of the time you act the opposite of what I thought you would. And yes I can tell that you want to open that image that Reni had sent." She said it like she caught her husband looking at another woman.

'How can she see what's on the phone screen!?'
"Well, that is true. I do want to—" He wanted to look at the image that Reni had sent. But what if it was something, that was an inappropriate photo?
"Then just do it." She encouraged him, which made Otto uncomfortable with the topic.
Otto didn't respond and decided to send a reply to the sender, as he thought that it was already December 21st and now he was 11 years old a year older than him yesterday.

"No." He sighed, pushing away his intrusive thoughts of looking at the image, and shifted the subject as Brynhildr just giggled seeing his embarrassment.
"Anyways, let's get on the plan." He stated as snow started falling from the sky again, turning his gaze to Issei playing with Irina.
"It's you again! Mr. Weird guy." Irina shouted, not getting Issei's attention, as he was busy looking at the big mounds of their neighbors.
"Hello, tomboy."
"Hmph, my name is Irina. What's your name Mr?" She introduced with a smug.
"I'm Otto Apocalypse. Do note that I'm the same age as you, just a year older."
"Otou Apukaripsu?" She wasn't good with foreign languages just yet.
"Well, besides that. What does Reversed Tower mean?" Irina asked as Issei now shifted his gaze to the two.
"Hmmm... Avoidance of Calamity." Otto ran into a fortune teller on a shady area in Kuoh, because he thought of it as interesting.
"What calamity did you or someone avoid?" She asked.
"Hmmm... I wonder." Otto shrugged since he didn't understand that too, but guessed that it was Rizevim or Cleria and Masaomi.
"Then about the moon thingy?"
"Confusion or Misinterpretation." He understood the moon since he couldn't understand some people all that well.
"Then why are you using those fancy words just to say those?"
"Don't know." He just shrugged as he only muttered those words unconsciously when the three of them first met yesterday.
"Why are you back here?" Issei asked curiously.
"Oh, that? I want to show you something cool." Otto turned to him.
"What is?"
"This." Otto pulled out Brynhildr's spear, which surprised the two of them.
"Woah, how did you do that?" Irina had seen her father do some cool things, like party tricks before. But she had never seen someone magically summon an object from nothing.
"Is that real?" Issei asked excitingly as he had never seen a real weapon before and just substituted swords as wooden sticks.
"Yup."
"Is it sharp?"
"It is. Wanna try?" Otto said, making Issei hesitate for a moment.
"Sure!" He replied, without worry.
Otto then swiftly prickled Issei's left hand with the spear.
"Ouch-huh?" Issei felt like he had been stabbed with a needle in his hand, before feeling dizzy, and at the same time, Otto froze up as Brynhildr went back to him.
"Ummm are you two okay?" Irina looks at the two of them with worry.

Meanwhile, Otto's consciousness was forcibly dragged into Ddraig's inner world.
"???" Confused at the current situation he looked around before he found a huge cast of shadow behind him.
"Who are you? And how did you manage to wake me up?" A loud voice echoed the world.
"..." For good measure, Otto summoned the Eight-Handled Sila, as it hovers above his head.
"What is that?" Ddraig looked at the Sila curiously.
'It's only a soul that's left of Ddraig... So it should be easy to absorb by Brynhildr.' Otto reminded himself.
"Speak, human." Ddraig was starting to think that Otto was so intimidated, that he froze up from fear.
"Give me half your soul," Otto stated which made Ddraig, as the dragon roared in anger.
"You have the gall to come in front of me and ask for my soul!? What has the world become!!! That they no longer fear me, Ddraig Y Goch!?" Ddraig tried crushing Otto with its paw but was unexpectedly contested by Otto's brute force as the Sila glowed and turned once.
'How did this kid manage to contest me in a battle of soul?' Ddraig was certain that his dragon soul was stronger than the human in front of him, even if he was weakened.
Meanwhile, Otto only reacted to Ddraig's attack out of pure instinct to protect himself from harm.
"Just give me half of your soul bro. You're already strong with the boost thingy!" Otto shouted as he, at the least wanted Ddraig to still exist in Issei to lower his workload in the future. Even if Issei is a pervert, he still has some uses.
"Dream on, Brat." Ddraig just scoffed as he prepared a dragon breath.
"Can't a kid dream for a bit?"
"Raaaahh!" The red dragon unleashes a massive dragon breath at Otto who uses the new defensive noble art he created.
By combining 'Curse Energy' and 'Magic' with his green-discount Six Eyes, which he got after merging with the Sephira Crystal.
Otto created his first barrier technique, in which he covered his body with a superior version of a Simple Domain. That uses the bare minimum of Cursed Energy and the most amount of magic he could passively keep up to substitute the low curse energy output he has.
"Rho Bulwark." Otto was covered in dark-red energy as it took in the breath.
"HM!?" Ddraig looked around for the man who disappeared after his fire breath.
"Brynhildr Romatia." Otto dropped the spear that was covered in blue flames, above Ddraig who seemed to respond sluggishly.
"RRRRRAAAAAGGGHHH!!!" Ddraig who believed his scales were enough to protect himself from most of the attack was instead pushed down to the ground from the weight of the spear.
"HOW THE HELL IS THIS THING SO HEAVY!?" He screamed.
Hearing his comment, Brynhildr took it as an insult as she made it blaze even more hotter.
"AGHH!!" The red dragon lashed out his tail around trying to get the heavy spear off him.
Meanwhile, Otto took out Blade of Tathagata and prepared to cut Ddraig.
"Give me a part of your soul, NOW! That's all I ask." He said respectfully. "If you don't then I'm afraid that I would have to take drastic measures against you."
"NEVERRRRR!!!" Ddraig replied in persistence, as it would certainly hurt his pride as the heavenly dragon and would become a laughing stock to his rival, that he gave part of his soul off to someone.
"Aight, have it your way then." Otto brandished his sword with Cursed Energy and Magic to butcher the gigantic lizard.
*Empowered Mortal Draw*
A large wave of slash sliced Ddraig in two, and a sea of blood gushed all over, drenching Otto's body.
"Ughh..." Ddraig growled weakly from the blood loss, as his inner world tried to fix him.
"Guess I'll just get your whole soul then..." Otto sighed as he retrieved Brynhildr who pinned Ddraig down.
"Eat it." Otto approached Ddraig's behind seeing that his wounds were now healed at an alarming rate.
"AHHH!" Ddraig bolted away, refusing to be railed by the spear.
"Come back!" Otto chased Ddraig who ran away from him, just as he was preparing to pierce his unprotected area. His bussy.
'This is humiliating!!!' Ddraig screamed inwardly as he was losing on his inner world, at the same time he still couldn't understand how this human had a stronger soul than him.
'And that strange thing above the brat's head...' It gave him a strange feeling each time it turned, as it was slowly strengthening the kid.
"Just give up man... I'll just catch up to you eventually," Otto stated, as he had all day to chase around Ddraig.
And once again Sila turned for the 9th time. He could feel something in him getting stronger, but can't specifically tell.
"I refuse to lose this way!" Ddraig wined as he desperately ran away from getting his ass torn apart.
"No one's gonna know if you're not gonna tell someone about it." Otto was aware that Ddraig didn't want to lose to a nobody like him.
"How can I even trust you!? You suddenly barged inside my world." Otto's existence in his world was an oddity as normally he would have full control of the intruders.
"Just trust me, bro." He stated honestly. "I won't snitch on you. I don't brag anymore..."
"What are you going to do with my soul anyway!?"
"I just want your power, that's all..." He didn't just want to have Issei have all the juicy Boosted powers, could he? He also wants a piece of that Boost.
