The two of them worked together to drag the body of the Evil Spirit to an altar about a kilometer away from the temple, and then they expertly stacked the corpse into a huge depression resembling a wishing well.

As the body of the Evil Spirit sank to the bottom, a viscous black liquid surged from the spring at the base of the altar, spreading upward until it submerged the entire corpse.
