If it had been just a few kids playing and roughhousing, Su Yunjin wouldn't have intervened, as it's normal for children to play. However, Su Yunjin noticed that one child was being trampled on by a group of kids, who were also throwing stones at him. If the beating continued, the child would surely be hurt.

She had to go and see.

Several children were still punching and kicking the kid, throwing stones as well. As Su Yunjin approached, she shouted angrily, "What are you doing?"

Startled by Su Yunjin's angry shout, the kids scattered in a hurry, although two of them, unafraid, remained. The kids who stayed faced Su Yunjin defiantly, "Sister, he's a monster, and we need to kill the monster."

"A monster?" Su Yunjin looked at the child lying on the ground who had just been bullied, noticing his minor injuries, his small face swollen from the beating.

There was even blood coming from his forehead.
