Chapter 160: Mission Compromised

Kizaer stood once again at the same observation point. By his side were Joane, Ruth, Shen, and Keila, the one who had once been part of the group that attacked them. Unlike before, Keila looked dreadful.

Her face bore cuts, several fingers on both hands were missing, part of her scalp was exposed, and various other wounds covered her body. Yet, Keila's gaze resembled shattered glass, devoid of light and life. It was as if she were dead but somehow still alive.

"How much time do we have left?" Kizaer asked in a deep voice. Despite his attempt to maintain composure, irritation was already seeping into his demeanour.

"We still have about 10 minutes before the drug completely wears off," Ciona calmly informed Kizaer.
