Wayne James wrapped a towel around his hair as he stepped out of the bathroom, unconcerned about the droplets of water falling onto the wool carpet below.

He glanced at the half-naked woman on the bed and impatiently patted her cheek.

The latter opened her bleary eyes, seemingly just withdrawing from an evening of pleasure. She subconsciously tried to embrace James's waist but was pushed away by the man.

"Get going as soon as you wake up. I have serious matters to attend to later."

The woman shivered, finally fully awake, "What did you give me to drink?"

"Just a little something to spice things up. You use it all the time anyway, don't you?" Wayne James picked up the wallet from the table, drew out a thick stack of hundred-dollar bills, and threw them on her, "Take this, the extra is a bonus."
