Chapter 86: The Guardian's Past

Lyra's POV:

Accessing Timoteo's memory would not be easy, but I decided to try anyway. I needed to know if these were quantitative rocks or not.

Before I had left for this pack, Timoteo had given me a protective totem before I left so I could use that to connect to him.

I sighed as I braced myself ready to deliver into his memories. "Memoriam ostende mihi quam quaero. Unum, quod sciam, habuit. Ostende ea mihi a me non abscondentur" I chanted as I felt my consciousness materialize in the library.

I saw Timoteo lying down on the bed in one of the rooms in the library and soon I saw a gate materialize in front of me. I instantly panicked. I tried to go back but then the gate surrounded Mr trapping me within.
