Chapter 324: Truth

Cassandra Haven was not a woman who apologized often. Saying 'I am sorry' just did not come naturally to her. Needless to say she was very exhausted after apologizing so many times that day. But for the sake of her son, she had to dig deep within herself and apologize once more.

This time to Emily Molson's mother. With each step that she had taken, Cassandra Haven had been preparing herself for that. She did not want to be the reason that her son had a strained relationship with Emily's mother. So she had been prepared to just say sorry and be done with it. But what Cassandra had not been prepared for, and could have never been ready for. Was for the door to the apartment that Emily Molson lived in to open and reveal a familiar face. 

Never in a million years would Cassandra have thought that Emily Molson's mother was actually Jane, Cassandra's Jane. She had not seen the other woman in twenty years, and had never expected to see her again.
